noinclude

I reverted you thrice because you added maintenance templates without putting inside the noinclude. The result of this is that your maintenance template comes along with the template on user talk pages. Please be more careful. Chris Troutman (talk) 04:10, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Cleanse (album)

The article Cleanse (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable album

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Thank you...

for helping out with the Category:Articles lacking sources from January 2024 backlog, willingly or not. I noticed that a lot of article there disappeared because of your PROD or citing efforts. CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 03:27, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

I have declined your proposed deletion of several music articles

Songs/albums, and especially charting songs/albums, should never be deleted, because they can always just be redirected to the album or band article. Don't unnecessarily wipe out page histories. Cheers, Mach61 (talk) 22:59, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

KMFDM

The "Discography" header on KMFDM did not need a [citation needed] tag. That section is a summary of content verified elsewhere either in the KMFDM article, or in the KMFDM discography article. Summaries do not need sources. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 01:52, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Bobbie Allen (disambiguation)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bobbie Allen (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sleep Token discography

Hiya, just wondering why you tagged Sleep Token discography as needing additional citations? Everything is cited correctly I'm pretty sure. Thanks in advance for your response. Andre666 (talk) 22:26, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

  • Reply - @Andre666:, some of the EPs and singles have no citations. Thanks! --Jax 0677 (talk) 22:49, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

Template:Rhode Island House of Representatives

Please do not put [citation needed] tags on templates, as it causes them to show up on every article using the template. They are meant to be used only in articles. If you think something does not belong on a template, please inquire on its talk page. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 22:57, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

St. Regis Museum Tower sentence

Can you please explain your reasoning for needing to call St. Regis Museum Tower an American hotel? In the same sentence, it says it is located in San Francisco. I cannot find any other article that uses this same format, maybe if we talked about it I could better understand. Thank you. EmperorOfTheUS (talk) 16:35, 4 February 2024 (UTC)

  • Reply - @EmperorOfTheUS:, I think I read somewhere that it if applicable, is good practice to state the nation somewhere in the lead of an article. I have talked in chat rooms with people from other countries who did not know what "Illinois" was. --Jax 0677 (talk) 19:34, 4 February 2024 (UTC)

  1. I am on a phone.
  2. The burden is on the person who added the information.
  3. Tags should not be removed until the issue is resolved.

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hello, Jax 0677. Thank you for your work on The Elephants of Mars. Trainsskyscrapers, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

This page is comprehensive, contains both chart and critical reception sources from reputable music publications, and is formatted nicely. My only suggestion would be additional categories that match the musical genre ("instrumental rock"). Job well done.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Trainsskyscrapers}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Upcoming Porter Robinson album moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Upcoming Porter Robinson album. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 15:20, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

Christy Carlson Romano

If only one section of an article is unsourced, please use {{unreferenced-section}}, as is the case on Christy Carlson Romano. As far as I can tell, the only sourcing issues are in her filmography, so I've retagged accordingly.

Also, if large portions of a biographical article are unsourced, please use {{BLP sources}} instead of {{refimprove}}. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 17:57, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

  • Reply - @TenPoundHammer:, there were multiple sections of the article that needed additional references. In the future, please do not remove tags from articles without first resolving the issue(s). I will try to remember to use {{+blp}} instead of {{+r}}, but if I forget, it is not the end of the world nor even a big deal. --Jax 0677 (talk) 23:58, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

Volt Technical Resources

Why did you remove that prod? scope_creepTalk 15:25, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

  • Reply - @Scope creep:, please link to the article in question when posting on a talk page. Sorry for the late reply, but it was hard for me to believe that a company this size would not be notable. --Jax 0677 (talk) 23:56, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
@Jax 0677: It was found to be notable but not for its size, which is not a criteria for notability. scope_creepTalk 09:17, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thank you for the kind messages! I do have a few questions? Like do famous people have articles in wikiedpida even though their editing can be changed? Also i notice somethings that need improvement in some articles, but since I'm worried of not spreading true info I just tell other users about it. Is it a good idea? By the way thanks! Song4Life (talk) 03:13, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

  • Reply - @Song4Life:, yes and yes. However, you are welcome to be bold (but follow guidelines). --Jax 0677 (talk) 03:22, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

I been wondering that if you can edit in teams or at least collaborations? Song4Life (talk) 00:21, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

New Pages Patrol newsletter April 2024

Hello Jax 0677,

New Page Review queue January to March 2024

Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.

Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.

Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.

It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!

2023 Awards

Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!

WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.

Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.

Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.
