PES 2012 edit

You're only going to get yourself blocked if you keep doing that. Either gain a consensus to add these lists or let it be. Miremare 06:07, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Just to let you know, due to your persistence in adding that list along with your refusal to gain consensus for it, I'm reluctantly going to report you to WP:AIV the next time you do it. Please consider this warning and stop. Miremare 14:55, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jason, I have removed the team list for this article and gone into a bit more detail at the talk page. Marasmusine (talk) 13:10, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello again, you might be interested the discussion at WT:VG about these lists. Miremare 21:07, 7 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Jason, you have reverted again without responding at the article talk page, or the vidgeogames wikiproject talk page. Since you are not communicating, and going against the project's concensus regarding article content, it's beginning to look like you are not editing in good faith. Please respond. Cover / blogs edit

Hello again. The use of video game covers on Wikipedia falls under the non-free content rules, meaning such images can only be used under a claim of fair use, and each such image must have a "fair use rationale" attached to it to justify its inclusion in an article. The main justification for video game covers is that they aid the reader's recognition of the subject, the game and its cover being very closely linked. However "alpha" or other non-final covers do not perform this function as they will not be used on the final product.

Regarding the use of blogs as sources, please take a look at WP:BLOGS. Essentially, blogs may be cited when they are written by an established expert who has had prior works published by reliable independent sources. If this is not the case then blogs, as with forum posts and other self-published sources, should be avoided. If the blog cites a source for the information, then that source may be suitable to include instead.

Finally, regarding this edit, please remember the concensus on inappropriate lists. Thanks, Miremare 18:34, 22 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:AFC Champions League 2008 logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:AFC Champions League 2008 logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:04, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

May 2023 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. A discussion was held at Talk:2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (CAF)#For the benefit of JalenWolf where it was decided that any inclusion of entrants tables that had not been published by the applicable confederation or by FIFA constitutes WP:OR and WP:SYNTH, and consensus there was that this applies to all football-related articles. As such, no tables of entrants or draw pots will be included until after the draw. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 15:52, 26 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
