Hello Jasimriz and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Indus Hospitals, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Indus Hospitals

I have reverted your swingeing changes to this article. You must build consensus for edits of this nature. This type of edit, replacing an entire article by you choice of words, is disruptive, and you must consider this to be a level 1 warning about editing behaviour. Hello Jasimriz. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Indus Hospitals, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jasimriz. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jasimriz|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Fiddle Faddle 11:10, 16 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Indus Hospitals, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Jasimriz, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jasimriz|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. While you may have handled this edit request correctly, you have not responded to the formal question about the nature of your edits here.   Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Indus Hospital and Health Network, you may be blocked from editing. Fiddle Faddle 07:52, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear editor, I am employed by Indus Hospital and Health Network in the digital team. As per my management, I have to edit and upload the organization's information on Wikipedia and replace the old content on Indus Hospitals with the new content. The name of the page has been changed to the new name i.e. Indus Hospital and Health Network, however, I am unable to edit the content of the page as per your Wiki's community standards. I want to replace the old content on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indus_Hospital_and_Health_Network with the new and updated content i.e https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jasimriz/sandbox. Please let me know how can I replace the old content with the new content? I have already uploaded a draft with new content in my account's sandbox link has mentioned above. As per your queries about being paid about editing the content and having a "financial stake", I am an employee of Indus Hospital and Health Network and it is my job description to update the organization's Wikipedia page. Here is the link to our website - https://indushospital.org.pk/ Links to out publications where we have all the information about our organization - https://indushospital.org.pk/annual-report/ or https://indushospital.org.pk/annual-report-2019-20/

Please let me know how I can replace the content on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indus_Hospital_and_Health_Network Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasimriz (talkcontribs)

You may not edit this article directly because you are a paid editor. I have reverted your edits. You may only request edits see {{Request edit}}. You have now received two warnings about paid editing, and have proceeded regardless. Consider this a LEVEL THREE WARNINGH, now for disruptive editing. I will make that formal in a moment. A few items to note

edit

Hello Jasimriz. There are a few important things that you and your employer should understand about Wikipedia:

  1. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia - a general reference site about notable topics.
  2. Articles on Wikipedia are summaries of material previously published by reliable sources that are independent of the article's subject.
  3. Wikipedia articles must be written from a neutral point of view, as if written by someone who has no vested interest in the article's subject. Both positive and negative information about a topic can be included, as long as it comes from reliable sources, worded neutrally and given proper balance.
  4. It is for this reason that we highly discourage editors who have a personal or professional affiliation with a subject from writing about it. This is called a conflict of interest. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia's mission is to provide the public with articles that summarize accepted knowledge, written neutrally and sourced reliably. Readers expect to find neutral articles written independently of their subject, not corporate or personal webpages, or platforms for advertising and self-promotion. Articles should contain only material that complies with Wikipedia's content policies and best practices, and Wikipedians must place the interests of the encyclopedia and its readers above personal concerns.
  5. As you've already been told, editors with a financial stake in a topic must disclose this information. You have done so, and we appreciate your transparency in this regard.
  6. No single editor has any right of ownership or control over an article's content. This includes the subject of the article. In your case, Indus Hospital and Health Network has no right of control over the article, and cannot insist that the content be changed to a version it prefers. You may suggest changes on the article's talk page (Talk:Indus Hospital and Health Network) with the {{request edit}} template, where uninvolved editors can review your proposed changes.
  7. Consensus is Wikipedia's fundamental editorial model. Disagreements about content should be discussed politely on the article talk page. If that fails to resolve the disagreement, further dispute resolution options are available.

I hope that this has given you a bit more insight into how Wikipedia works, and how your efforts here will be the most productive. Thanks. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:35, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Indus Hospital and Health Network) for failure to heed repeated advice to use article talk pages and promotional editing.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  331dot (talk) 08:11, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been told that you must use the article talk page to propose edits to the article about your hospital, and not edit it yourself, but you ignored this advice and did it anyway. In addition, your edit turned the article into a promotional piece for your hospital. You are now blocked from editing the article itself, but you can still edit the talk page, as well as the rest of the encyclopedia. Please review how to make a formal edit request, and make one on the article talk page. 331dot (talk) 08:14, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
