April 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Andritolion. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Norton AntiVirus— has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. andritolion (talk) 05:55, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Comparison of antivirus software. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. andritolion (talk) 05:55, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Norton AntiVirus, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. andritolion (talk) 06:00, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  TheSandDoctor Talk 06:05, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
