Re: Tom Riner

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Tom Riner, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Mblumber (talk)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. --Mblumber (talk) 01:48, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. --Mblumber (talk) 03:05, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. — Kralizec! Request reason:

I would like to request that the block be removed from my account. The sources I removed were a self-published website and a blog post about that self-published website -- doesn't that fit into the questionable sources category? I am not very experienced at Wikipedia, and I'm sorry if I'm wrong. Also, I didn’t see the warning on my Discussion page before the block happened, but I definitely would have stopped editing if I had seen that. I am still getting the hang of things. Sorry about that. Thanks for considering my request. Jamesjohnson1945 (talk) 01:37, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You continually removed material about a primary challenge to Rep. Riner. Self-published sources are acceptable for material about the self ... i.e., if someone launches a website saying s/he's going to run against The Hon. Notable in an election, that website may be cited as a source for that information. I'm trying to maintain good faith but you are coming across as a little disingenuous. — Daniel Case (talk) 03:09, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
