Ghostface linking edit

You should only link once in an article, unless there are special circumstances as to why you are linking again. Also, there is not need to add the second "Shriek of you know what I ..." there isn't a pipe linking problem with the title. Bignole 12:45, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ahhhh.. I see. Sorry about that. :) Jamesbuc

Dealing with personal attacks edit

James, responding to your note on the Village Pump: The personal attacks from that anon user on Talk:Wrong Turn 2 are absolutely not allowed on Wikipedia under WP:NPA, and you did the right thing by looking for help at the Pump. You could also go to the administrator's noticeboard when it becomes a major problem, such as the anon user vandalizing your user page. Let me know if you have any other questions! | Mr. Darcy talk 20:52, 6 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ghostface/enemies edit

What about all the people in Scream 3. Sidney didn't know them. They were killed to bring her out, but that's more of a motivation for killing. Bignole 14:00, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Exactly the people in scream 3 were mostly just a way to bring her out of hiding. The fact that the killer was after her (oh and maybe Gail and Dewey) still counts Jamesbuc

Wrong Turn Discussion page edit

I've deleted that "I'm Right" topic from the discussion page for it's uncontrolled incivility, personal attacks, and forum chat by the Anonymous user. I don't know if you edit it regularly or not, but hopefully it should be clear to edit with concern for this guy attacking people. I also put the "talkheader" up there as well. The Anon has recently been blocked for his incivility, and I'm sure that if he keeps it up that he'll eventually be blocked for good. He appears to want to do nothing but start trouble. I saw that he also edited on the Bleed film page as well; I hope he didn't give you trouble over there as well. Bignole 03:30, 8 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much. Help is much apprechiated. Now if only there was a cookie award like in Unencyclopedia. Jamesbuc

LOL. Well, he bumped over to my page so I got a taste of what you got. Bignole 12:36, 8 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re:Enemies edit

That is what I was talking about, it's going to cause a lot of perceptional judgement. Like, Norman for example doesn't "kill women", his "mother" does. LOL, see, now we get into the problem of, even though he is his mother, the rage he has for women was in mimicking his mother. So, does he really hate women, or is he so delusional that he doesn't know the difference between his feelings and his mother's?

Can Andy be a real enemy? He's always trying to take over Andy's body (until the 3rd film, and then Andy isn't around anymore).

I think Jigsaws can be removed completely because the "people who he believe waste their life" could(might already be) covered in his "M.O." section.

Nancy's defeated Freddy 3 times. Freddy doesn't have specific enemies. The Parents were at one time his enemy, then they were afraid of him.

This is why I think we'll have trouble with this. Are people's enemies those that they kill, or those that try and kill them? Are they people that have succeeded in getting away, or just put up a good fight? "Enemy" (IMO) is probably a section that should be done away with, just because of it's ambiguity in detailing it. Otherwise we are going to be playing mix-n-match with the "standards" for filling it in. I agree about Jason's death, but part of that is Original Research on my part (I'm doing the deductive logic to say "he grew from a boy to an adult, so he couldn't have drowned), and it will be challenged by others. Many fan websites will either list his death as a boy, or at the "Jason Goes to Hell" stage, or leave it open. I think we should look at the Jabba the Hutt Infobox and pull what we can from that one, and fill those in, since Jabba is a featured Article. I also think Padme Amidala is a featured article as well. Bignole 13:58, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

That's where I think we're getting into the realm of fan infomation and not encyclopedic information. For Freddy, he's died every single film, technically. Like, when I look at Padme Amidala's infobox, I think what they did was remove any section that relies on interpretation, and not clear facts. Padme has affiliations but they don't list the "Empire" or the "Separatists" as enemies of hers, or Palpatine doesn't have enemies or dates of birth and death. The reason I keep citing Star Wars as examples is because it seems that currently only the Star Wars people have managed to get any of their fictional characters on the Featured Articles list. I'm not trying to dismiss anything, just follow an example that has managed to reach the top status on Wikipedia for encyclopedic content. But right now, I'm not going to worry, I trust you to do what you think is best. I have two specific characters that (once I manage to find the time) I have to work on and at least get all of their fancruft out from the text. Bignole 16:08, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
