Swastika edit

Please us the article talkpage to discuss your edits. I understand that you want to draw a distinction between the "hooked cross" and the swastika, but in English "swastika" refers to both, and you should understand that Wikipedia follows common usage, and that Wikipedia isn't a good place to start a campaign to reclaim the term. I just edited FACT, what you did is wrong, i also gave proof of my claim. No one should blame hindus for something that done by Christian extremists. Kindly put my edit back and let the world know the reality. James surfer (talk) 16:30, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please read WP:RGW - this isn't the place for you to campaign for a change in terminology. I understand the historical injustice, but the terms "hooked cross" and "hakenkreuz" aren't broadly used in English for the Nazi symbol. This is unfortunate, and a classic example of cultural appropriation by the Nazis at the expense of Hindus, but it is a historical fact. Please use the article talkpage to suggest ways to express this better in the article. Acroterion (talk) 16:33, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
