ATGD

Hi James, just letting you know that I've moved Across the Great Divide tour back to its original title with the t of tour uncapitalised, because that is the correct name of the tour. Cheers, Spebi 09:53, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Wishing you well

Whatever has happened, I hope you get through it, and return soon and safely to Wikipedia, where your presence has been nothing but positive and productive. Cheers, and good luck, -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 08:25, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Charlemagne page

Hi, E. Thanks for putting in the semi-protection in response to my request. I was wondering whether you had a chance to look at the debate about the German name to which I referred in the request for page protection. Is there somewehere else I should have raised that question? Thanks, EdChem (talk) 09:37, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

No I didn't get around to it, and there is many places you can bring it up on the project. Just have a look around or ask on IRC :) — E talk 00:04, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

HBC AIV helperbot5 broken?

It doesn't appear to be keeping up with the blocks etc. on AIV or UAA. Is it a dodgy connection on my end (most probably :P) or is the bot stalled? Regards, Rudget. 12:59, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

There is five of them and they 'fight' to get the edit. If one isn't working, the other ones take over. It just seems that seeing there is five of them now, mine is the 'odd one out' and only gets a few edits every now and again :) — E talk 13:03, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
I see. :) - "Fighterbot". Rudget. 13:48, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Problem is none of them are now clearing WP:UAA. —Wknight94 (talk) 14:34, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Can't see that happening now, but if it does, please log a bug report on JIRA (as shown above). — E talk 22:49, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Oh sorry. No, the heading got hacked up. Diagnosed and fixed by Krellis. —Wknight94 (talk) 23:33, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Image on User:ENewsBot

This is ENewsBot, delivering Wikipedia:WikiProject Iceland's monthly newsletter.

I was browsing around, and the Image of the F-22 on User:ENewsBot's page was deleted. I wasn't sure how to change it, and I thought this image of another F-22, this time with a package, might work. Anyway, :D SpencerT♦C 19:20, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

  Done :) — E talk 20:59, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

SSP bot

I know there's a bot, but it doesn't work all too often. It is, as I recall, set to 15 minutes, but yesterday there were several cases way older than that, some a day or two. RlevseTalk 12:04, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

It is set to 5 minutes and you should then notify me of any such problems. — E talk 20:33, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
That'd be an every day notice pretty much. It's not like I archive incorrectly. You need to track down and fix why it's not archiving so often. RlevseTalk 17:14, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Edit Userboxes

Hello E. Actually, you may be looking at Interiot's tool. If you say undeleted edits that I have 13000. But if you look at the count in 'My Preferences' tab, which shows your total edits, regardless of deleted edits, than after I send this message to you I have 14,051, hence over 14000. - Milk's Favorite Cookie 14:03, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

I see... — E talk 07:02, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Actually now if you look at Interiot's tool - I have over 14000 edit :) - Milk's Favorite Cookie 18:44, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

StatusBot

I appreciate that you are updating the current bot, as you are mine, but if its alright with you, I'd like to update it myself, if its no problem towards you. Zenlax T C S 20:51, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

That's fine, there is currently a bug in the bot which prevents it from updating statuses. There are many scripts around that will allow you to do this manually. Thank you. — E talk 09:41, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Potrero Hills

Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to severely warn (and block, if necessary) those two nincompoops than to fully protect the page? (It seems an awfully unimportant page and an awfully minor edit war for so drastic a step...) —Steve Summit (talk) 03:55, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

It is unprotected in three days time, if you wish to make an edit, please use the {{EditProtected}} template on the talk page and also supply consensus to the nature of this edit. Thank you. — E talk 09:40, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

AWB

Whoops, I was considering downloading it a while ago, but never got around to it, but I guess I must have registered then.

I suppose I should have checked before adding myself again! Anyway, I've downloaded it now, sorry for wasting your time!

Thanks, Dan1980 (talk | stalk) 09:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

No problem! — E talk 09:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Talk page archiving

Help? Yes please. I'd been wonderng how to archive it but hadn't got around to trying to find out. Colonies Chris (talk) 10:42, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

  Done. — E talk 21:53, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

User:EBot IV

I've recently noticed that User:Chris G Bot 3 (who replaced User:StatusBot) has been replaced by User:EBot IV a bot operated by you. Is your bot going to update all pages now? My page here hasn't been updated since Chris G Bot 3 was in his prime. I have disabled it at the moment, will your bot start working on it or do I need to revert the disabling?--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 02:42, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

I've just readded the crucial part of using the bot and let's hope we get something out of it now. — E talk 07:01, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello. I have the same problem - the bot doesn't update my status. I had to create my own Status and LastEdit information and thought that would help the bot, but there was no result. Is it a temporary bug, or is something wrong with my settings?  ARTYOM  17:24, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Please file a bug report using the details at the top of the page and I will look into it. I am currently working on a solution, however it would be great if you could log the bug on the Wikimedia Toolserver Bug Tracker (JIRA). Thank you. — E talk 20:02, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Done! [1]  ARTYOM  22:18, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Reply to original response: No wonder! I've forgot that after I remove the template and use any system of my own that it takes the CAT away with it. Thanks!--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 23:58, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Hey E, sorry to bother you again but looks like your edit here and here didn't work. Any ideas whats wrong?--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 23:46, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Hello again. I have scheduled some crucial maintenance for Saturday where I will try my best to resolve the bot's bug which is not updating the statuses, and only updating the lastedit components. I'll drop you a line when I have it working again. Sorry for the inconvenience. — E talk 09:43, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Okay thanks.--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 00:21, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

I think you deserve this.

Your bot request

Hi E I wanted to let you know that Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/HBC AIV helperbot5 2 has been approved. Please visit the above link for more information. Thanks! BAGBot (talk) 11:55, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Belcourt Theatre article deletion

Why have you deleted Belcourt Theatre ? Cited reason is "blatant advertising" - I can assure I have nothing to do with the organization that runs the theatre, so clearly this is not advertising. The theater was already mentioned in another article, and has historical and cultural value for Nashville. Most of the information was taken from the Hillsboro Village article (which has existed for some time) to create the article, and it's my intention to expand it later, with references, etc. I find it interesting that you chose to delete the article, without adding that information back to the Hillsboro Village article, causing a loss of information. A simple "citation needed" tag would have been sufficient, n'est-ce pas? Thanks. --Shubopshadangalang (talk) 23:16, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi there Shubopshadangalang. As noted by the banner at the top, E is currently in hospital. I'm not an admin and can't see the article in question, but if you would like it restored, perhaps to your userspace, a good place to ask is WP:DRV. Hope this helps. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 08:48, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
