Are you sure you want Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Galen Research to be deleted? edit

JamesOAdams, you added {{db-userreq}} to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Galen Research. That would indicate that you are asking for it to be "speedily deleted". Is that what you intended to do? Pete aka --Shirt58 (talk) 16:06, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi there Shirt58. Thank you so much for your help! I was hoping to take the article I was working on out of review. I basically submitted it, but I feel now that I would like to work on it more before I send it off for review. Is there a way to just basically make it a draft again? If not, I'm okay with deleting it as I've saved my work. Would deleting the article hurt my chances of getting it accepted?

Basically, I just want to stop the review process on the article and make it into a draft.

Thanks again!

JamesOAdams (talk) 16:17, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have moved it to User:JamesOAdams/Galen Research, where you can work on it more. I have also removed the submission tag. Singularity42 (talk) 16:28, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Once again, thanks. And apologies for the bother.

Grouping articles together edit

Hello JamesOAdams! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia and your QoL contributions. If you have time, I think a really useful page to contribute to would be List of patient-reported quality of life surveys. This would be a list of all the QOL surveys that have been created, and could be linked from the QoL page itself. It'd be a nice way to link all the QoL surveys that have been created together, under a parent article that can link them all. I would love to help out in a small way, and was wondering what your thoughts would be on creating a 2-3 sentence reference to each of the QoL articles on the list page? I think it'd be great to have a central article like that. Kind regards, LT910001 (talk) 01:13, 6 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello LT910001! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia as well. I think that is a excellent idea and it looks good too. I see you've already made a start! I'm quite excited to start adding to the list, may I begin to do so? I am quite happy to make contributions to it.

Thanks again for the suggestion, it is such a good idea. Kind regards, JamesOAdams (talk) 10:06, 6 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello JamesOAdams! I saw an article that I thought might be right up your alley: Performance status. This article has an annual readership of 72k+, and is in great need of improvement. At the moment it's just a list of alternate systems to the widely-used ECOG status, and doesn't even appear to mention the NYHA scale. If you feel I could constructively help, let me know (+ how!) and I'd be more than happy to (after the 20th :D)--LT910001 (talk) 03:26, 14 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

However, I haven't encountered much about the subject. I will probably have to do some serious research first and then get back to you on this, as well as see exactly what information could be added. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to let me know. Thank you for letting me know about the article, it's an exciting mini project :D JamesOAdams (talk) 09:57, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
