Really good work on that draft! Do you have page numbers for the facts taken from Tristan Donovan's book? (I have the book at home, so I could consult it and add that info to the references, unless you have it handy.)

I've looked at a couple of other articles created by you, and I don't see any need for you to submit drafts for review, unless you really prefer to go through draftspace. You could create drafts in your user space to get the time to develop them, and then move them to mainspace when you think they are ready. As a board game lover and a fairly experienced Wikipedia editor, I'd be happy to give you input if you want. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 08:46, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

@Bonadea Thanks! I'm pretty sure that all of the facts about board game cafés are in the first four pages of the book, as he uses it as an introduction.

I've been going back and forth on the drafts but I'll try and do it through my userspace from now on. I didn't actually know you could just move it, so I think I've ended up copy pasting at least one article into the mainspace instead. Thanks again!! JamJamSvn (talk) 12:16, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

Worm's-eye view short description

Hi JamJamSvn,

I noticed you had added the short description for Worm's-eye view some time ago, so I thought I'd come to you with this question. Please let me know if you have an idea of who else I can go to.

When I have the page for Worm's-eye view (and some other pages, including Orthographic projection) open in the Wikipedia app, the short description displays under the title as "Consumption of feces."

This clearly isn't actually the short description, as if I go to edit the page, I see appropriate text (in the case of Worm's-eye view, "View of an object or location from below"). Moreover, if I look at the preview of all of the Wikipedia tabs I have open in the app, the normal short description is what displays.

Nonetheless, I feel like this "Consumption of feces" description should be fixed. I just haven't been able to figure out how to do this. I was wondering if you might have any ideas, in the hopes that you know more about short descriptions than I do.

Hi. Maybe it's just some weird coincidence, but I've been re writing the article in my sandbox for a while now, and you have just made some fairly significant contributions to it (despite the fact that it hasn't received any significant edits for years). I was planning on copy pasting the new content directly into the article, but this would interfere with your new edits, so I wanted to see if you would be alright with this? We've both used the same King source so I think we're basically repeating each other. You cited some of the later stuff (18th and 19th century) to the King source, but I don't think he actually talks about this, right? I think he only goes up to 1660. Yes, you're correct. Thanks for your edits - please note that per MOS:CENTURY, both the numerical and word expression for centuries is fine, so there wasn't really a need to change all of them in the article. Just to let you know, I'll be expanding some more Norwich articles in the future, starting probably with Dragon Hall or the Guildhall and moving on to others, particularly using King's book. Please feel free to edit these, but I'd appreciate if you let me know first so there's no more overlap. Of course I'm not implying that anyone was at fault here. Thank you for this new article. I have found no issues, except for a question as to whether this may be a duplicate article. I have balanced the neutrality of the article a little more by adding some material from The Guardian, into the Controversy section. I have added a couple more article categories. I would like to add more "What links here" links, but am hesitating to do so until we can establish that this is not a duplicate article with Common Good Labour. @Storye book: Hi! I'm quite sure that it's not a duplicate article for a few reasons I've now detailed on that talk page. I believe the writer of the 2023 Guardian article must have gotten the two confused due to their similar names, but they have separate origins and founders despite being created around the same time.
