August 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Butik Qalesha. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. elektrikSHOOS 08:41, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Butik Qalesha, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. elektrikSHOOS 08:51, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Butik Qalesha edit

The article Butik Qalesha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only two references are to a yellow pages listing, which doesn't confer notability, and a blog, which isn't considered a reliable source. Business likely fails WP:COMPANY. External links, as well as the tone of the article as a whole, leads me to believe this is nothing but an attempt at promotion.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. elektrikSHOOS 20:42, 7 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Butik Qalesha edit

I have nominated Butik Qalesha, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Butik Qalesha. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Christopher Connor (talk) 22:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Exmor. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. CliffC (talk) 01:17, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. elektrikSHOOS 08:06, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Product 01.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Product 01.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 01:19, 16 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Smartphone LG-P500.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Smartphone LG-P500.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:09, 23 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

AirSnarf edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of AirSnarf, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://airsnarf.shmoo.com.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of AirSnarf edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on AirSnarf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Linkspam edit

I'm sure these were good-faith edits made without knowledge of Wikipedia policy against self-promotion or creating multiple links to one's one site or a site of which one is a fan. I've noticed that virtually all of your recent edits have been to link articles to the site Astro TV. I've seen this at here, here, here, and elsewhere. This is considered linkspamming and is not allowed. These links must be removed, either by yourself or other editors.

I'm sure you can understand why Wikipedia does not allow this — hundreds of sites would then be adding scores of their links to articles. If a specific encyclopedic point requires an Astro TV citation, by all means include it. Otherwise, we need to ask you to stop adding these links. Thanks, --Tenebrae (talk) 20:08, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning; the next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  7  01:14, 26 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

sometimes, i fell that one reference could be related to a few article. this site provide genuine information for readers. Jaizovic (talk) 02:34, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You were warned to stop adding links to this site to Wikipedia, and informed that you would be blocked if you continued. By continuing, you chose to be blocked. Your unblock request does not indicate that you have a plan for editing differently in the future, and this block was not an error, so there are no grounds for me to overturn the block. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
