Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sunderland A.F.C., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello there mate, if you look at Sunderlands pre season games in some (Carlisle, Hartlepool and the first game in Portugal) the lads have worn 1-11 and then the subs have been numbered 12 to whatever depending on how many subs there have been. I think this has been because in these games the youth squad have been used as well as some of the first team

In the Darlington, other two games in Portugal and the game against Betis tnyt the lads have worn their squad numbers. Mannone 25, Brown 5, Gomez 14, Bridcutt 26, O'Shea 16 etc.. They will of only wore these numbers if they were this season's squad numbers and in early photo's from pre season the lads had their numbers on their training kits.

I am not just changing the squad numbers for the sake of it
