If you want to communicate with me other than via my talk page, please go to my user page - the "E-mail this user" link in the tool box on the left hand side works and you can email me by clicking on it. Unless it is something private you do not want to disclose here, I strongly prefer to communicate on Wiki (via talk pages). Ruhrfisch ><>°° 14:39, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
The warning was for twice deleting material from User:Nyttend's page, which is seen as vandalism. I am quite busy now, but will look at the edits in question in the next 10 hours or so and get back to you. Another place to discuss this owuld be on the talk page for the township article, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:10, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I found a book reference online and added it to the talk page. Please see WP:CITE about how to do inline citations or ask if unsure, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:45, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

administrators edit

I wasn't happy with one of your administrators (nyttend) continue to delete information without trying to reach out to me to help me with correctly citing my source. I get the feeling that some of you folks who have nothing better to do sit around all day and get a power trip by controlling information. I do give you credit by at least getting back to me with messages and suggestions on posting material. Thanks. I just wish he/she would have gotten back to me with an offer of help like you did instead of continuing to delete my addition. What does he know about where I live? And why did he even bother to post general, virtually irrelevant infomation about my area? Again, does he have nothing better to do?

This is a good website to look up info, but not the most user-friendly site to post info. I think I will not waste my time posting material. I do have better things to do, after all...unlike others.

Thanks again for your help.Jaeulat (talk) 13:37, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have added most of the information back with a reference. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:45, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I deleted the information because you failed to provide the information necessary to verify what you had added. Unless means are present to verify it, either because you provide a URL for an online source or the proper citation data for an offline source, information does not belong on Wikipedia. I don't know much about where you live (I'm a "he", BTW), and that's just another reason to require proper citation — I don't have access to your print sources, so I can't help you by improving your citations. And in case you wonder, I have plenty of other things to do, and searching Google Books when I don't understand much about how it works is not a particularly good use of my time; that's why I leave that to other people such as Ruhrfisch. Remember to assume good faith — calling me power-hungry is unacceptable. Nyttend (talk) 02:20, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
