Your personal opinions on the LEAP program edit

Hello, I have recently noticed the new page on Lyneham High School, and the contributions so far seem well-meaning, however it seems as if some of your comments regarding the LEAP program are biased in favour of it, and cannot be certified as correct. Your comment relating to the "different method of education" does not reflect my experience, as when I attended Lyneham High (2004-2007) I had very many intelligent debates, and open ended questions in Level 1 Non-LEAP classes. Also, try to keep your opinions and recommendations off of Wikipedia, and what's with the Chuck Norris joke?

Thankyou, and I realise you mean well in your edits, I just noticed you might wish to review your edits. Declan Keating (talk) 10:50, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Me again. Can I firstly ask if people are using your Wikipedia account to make non-serious edits to the LHS page? It would appear that way. From my understanding of what you're saying, you seem to be a strong proponent of the LEAP program. All in all, I think classes are what the students make of them, and they are as open-ended as students want them to be. LEAP has it's potential, as does Level 1. I find it frustrating when people seem to think that LEAP students are more intelligent than those in Level 1. While this can be the case, it isn't always. I know this from experience. It ceases to matter so much by the time you reach college anyway. I don't want to offend, though, just giving my personal views on the subject.

Back onto the topic of the LHS article, maybe we should get some more experienced Wikipedia editors to help clean up some of that text. It's good that there is a page for LHS now, though. Keep contributing.

Cheers. Declan Keating (talk) 12:15, 29 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
