January 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Garre, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 20:37, 26 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

February 2009 edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Garre. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Please note that your comments imply that you are making a legal threat, which could lead to your account being blocked. See WP:NLT. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 14:52, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your comments are better suited for Talk:Garre, rather than my user talk page. You are welcome to nominate the article for deletion (see WP:AFD), but as the subject seems eminently notable, I doubt that it would be deleted. A better approach: If you believe that the article contains incorrect information, then replace it with attributed information. Or, again, outline your concerns at Talk:Garre. Please note that I haven't had a hand in creating the Garre article. I have reverted to an earlier version when I believed someone had made either a unattributed or PoV edit, or to clean up formatting etc. Consider checking the article's edit history. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 22:06, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
P.S. I've moved the bulk of the article to the talk page Talk:Garre, and left a comment to that effect. All that's left is the introduction. Any further additions to the article should be accompanied by a reliable source, as per Wikipedia's verifiability policy. I hope this is of some help. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 22:14, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
