Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport
editIn response to your question on Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport history page:
→Terminal 1 - How does an 8 gate terminal be a domestic terminal when there was only 2 domestic destinations? And also British Airways used the terminal (A1) but dont know how to add that in
Terminal 1 used to be domestic terminal during the era of socialist Yugoslavia, when domestic destinations were abundant, and departures much more frequent than those to international destinations. Following the breakup of the country, this terminal was used in fact only for domestic traffic (at that time to Priština, Podgorica and Tivat) - however, as two terminals are at airside separated only by glass barrier in the middle of A concourse, that barrier was moved. Prior to the change, international terminal (T2) used gates A1 through A4, while gates A5 though A10 were used for domestic traffic at T1. Later this was changed, so domestic terminal (T1) used only gates A7-A10, while the others became part of international terminal.
So, while British Airways has been using gate A1 (and I beleive it still regularly does), it has never been a part of domestic terminal (T1). Terminal 2, apart from A gates, uses gates C1-C6, which are exclusively international gates. Best regards, Meelosh 15:22, 7 November 2006 (UTC).
Thanks for that. It is kinda weird and confusing about the layout of T1 and T2. I think there should just be like a JAT terminal (T1) (gates A1-A8 or i think there are 12 gates to T1) which could be used by other domestic carriers such as Aviogenex or Centavia and have T2 for other international carriers such as British Airways, Montenegro Airlines, Swiss etc. JU580
- Given the situation, that would be the logical thing to do, in fact - the glass barrier could be completely removed, so while both terminals are used in terms of check-in, all the gates could be reachable from both terminals. The trouble is Terminal 1 is relatively small (not a problem for Jat's frequency of traffic), but it also lacks space for passport and customs control, as it was designed to be domestic terminal. It is doable, but still, pretty crowded. The thing is, current passanger number allows for use of just one terminal - sad, but is true and will be so for another 2-3 years for sure...
- There are, however, two future events that will in one way or another make T1 busy again - after LCCs start flying to BEG, T1 could become LCC terminal (although it would take a huge renovation to make it funcioning again). Also, once Serbia joins Schengen area, BEG will need two separate terminals, one with and one without passport control, so T1 could be reverted to its original purpose - domestic flights. But that's in 10-15 years, maybe there'll be a whole new airport... Meelosh 10:51, 8 November 2006 (UTC).
ok. I hope 7N can get licences to fly scheduled destinations too. Would be good to see a local low cost carrier.
I don't think that T2 is big enough for all the flights, especially during the morning and afternoon peak periods. Up to 8 flights board flights around the 7:30AM/8AM time in T2 who only has 6 gates, and thats excluding the arrivals during that time. But i like that the airport is A380 ready, all that is needed is an A380 to test the facilities. :) JU580

Orphaned non-free image (Image:JAT logo.gif)
editThanks for uploading Image:JAT logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:06, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called JU580. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name JU580~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
