What an article needs

Welcome to Wikipedia, but please read WP:Your first article to see what an article needs if it is to be kept - at least, a clear statement of what it is about and why that subject is significant or important enough to have an article in an encyclopedia. That is the minimum to avoid speedy deletion; if the article is to stay, it also needs references to reliable sources to verify what it says. JohnCD (talk) 09:44, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
