Devil

I couldn't find the Bible reference for this statement: "The Bible describes the devil as the most beautiful angel (in his early days)." My best guess is Isaiah 14:12, but that seems to be about power, not beauty. And anyway, equating Lucifer with the devil is at best a Point Of View presented as fact, a no-no according to Wikipedia: Neutral point of view) - see Lucifer and the Bible commentaries Wikipedia provides at Biblical exegesis. Your recent edit on the same article was not only a major NPOV violation but outright false. Please keep your anti-evolution bias off the article, as it has already gone to great lengths to be objective. DreamGuy 01:41, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

It was not false at all. I have a very reasonable doubt of evolution. I am not bias. And please comment back and let me know what part of it you believe to be false. And let us not argue about our different beliefs, but reason about them so that we may come to one conclusion that my statement is true or that it is false. JNeal 01:58, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

Your quote may be accurate, but the statement about there being no transitional forms is false. If you want to make substantial changes to the article, please discuss the changes on the talk page. Guettarda 02:28, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

Also: On the "Darwin admitted" -- most of the people who say that Darwin admitted something are selectively quoting. Darwin's writing style was to acknowledge every possible objection to his theory, to say that they are indeed important and could be devastating, but that in the end he finds they can be dealt with in such-and-such a way. For example he famously said that it was "absurd" to imagine that something as complicated as the eye could evolve, which is often quoted out of context by intellectually dishonest people trying to say that even Darwin didn't believe in evolution. This is of course false on the face of it, but it becomes even more obviously dishonest when the next line Darwin says is about how evolution is powerful enough for even this apparent absurdity. Just a little note -- be wary of anti-Darwinians who quote Darwin saying that his theory doesn't work, because they are rarely being honest about their quotation and this is usually easily verifiable. --Fastfission 16:59, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your comment, Fastfission. I'm sure some people would do such horribly deceitful things such as what you described; but the man I quoted, Grant Jeffrey, is not this type of person. He is a Christian (I am too): he knows that all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed) will spend eternity in Hell. Wikipedia is licenced under the Gnu Free Document Licence. Any content such as Image:Basketball-NBA-court-dimensions-diagram-lrg.gif must be cleared first by the copyright holder. It ought to be fairly easy to draw a basketball court in a good program such as the one Charles Darwin's family tree is drawn in (and I can't remember the name of right now). It's great that Wikipedia has people like you who look around Wikipedia and make sure everything is good, and I don't mean to cause any trouble or inconvenience for you or any other person; but, I think David Hartwig and his "famous" dog Skidboot are notable enough for Wikipedia. They have been on Oprah, Leno, Letterman, Pet Star, several news stories, etc. Jay Leno said, "Skidboot is the smartest dog I've ever seen." They have done a number of other performances as well. A video about Skidboot currently ranks number nine on Google Video. [1] I was about to contest the speedy deletion tagging, but by the time I clicked on "edit", the page was gone.
