Port of

edit

After looking into more examples, I withdraw my previous statements: it seems that "port of x" construction is more often used than "x port". Feel free to revert me; one recommendation I'd have is to ensure that there are redirects from "x port" to "port of x", as such term is still used in English works relatively often (if, perhaps, not as often as "port of x"). Examples: [1], [2]. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:33, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Jezioro Białe

edit

The article Jezioro Białe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Consists of a list of places named 'Jezioro Białe', in the fashion of a disambiguation page, but all of those places are redlinks. Therefore, this page seems unnecessary, and features next to no content. See also Białe Jezioro

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cnilep (talk) 22:15, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bronislaw Komorowski Image

edit

Hi JDavid. I noticed that this image is marked with an OTRS pending template, however, I am a tad bit confused with your recent reversion and edit summary. Have you contacted the person/orginization that holds rights to this image, and have they agreed to license the image under CC, and send an email to OTRS, or are you awaiting an initial response? I await a reply. Thanks. Connormah (talk | contribs) 20:20, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Re: Ad. 2 Silesian Voivodeship

edit

LUCPOL (talk) 20:23, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Napisałeś "Ty natomiast wyolbrzymiasz autonomię do miary osobnego państwa" - jesteś zwykłym kłamcą, nigdy nie wyolbrzymiałem autonomii do miary osobnego państwa. Autonomia to autonomia. LUCPOL (talk) 20:42, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

My talk page

It says clearly in the description of the image ") (Upload of original artwork by artist.) " so I don't know what you're talking about...

"Original upload by artist" means exactly that. The artist is the one that uploaded it. Permission is implied.Michael DoroshTalk 15:36, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
