Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Atheism. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.   Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Atheism. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. - DVdm (talk) 10:25, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I understand that Wikipedia should not be used for self promotion or advertising purposes and specifically that I should not create external links with that purpose. Moving forward my only intention is to append information of books to relevant articles, e.g. a biography of Charlotte Mason on the page regarding Charlotte Mason, and to correct information regarding the company and books published by James Clarke & Co and The Lutterworth Press. This information would be intended to be purely factual and will not contain external links.JCpromotion (talk) 15:25, 10 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

What you describe as your only intention amounts to promoting the books. It is not appropriate on Wikipedia. Huon (talk) 12:31, 11 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I would advise you that your username appears to be a violation of WP:USERNAME, and would strongly advise you to chose a new one. Names that appear to be of organisations or positions at organisations are not allowed. Yours appears to be a role if not a position, and as such this implies that it could be passed on to another person along with the 'job', This is also not allowed.
