Draft:Prowl (Transformers)

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Draft:Prowl (transformers), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.bing.com/knows/Bluestreak?mkt=zh-cn.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)   Hello JBrownIII, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. I have repaired the problem with Draft:Prowl (transformers). If you wish to use content from one page in another in the future, please be sure to attribute.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:08, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Prowl (transformers) concern

edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Prowl (transformers), a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:34, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Prowl (transformers)

edit

Hello, JBrownIII. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Prowl".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Onel5969 TT me 20:18, 7 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits

edit

Hi JBrownIII. Just a reminder: please don't mark edit like this one as minor. See Help:Minor edit for more information. Happy editing! RivertorchFIREWATER 15:49, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

"Like"???
Please change your bio page. It's terminally cringe. JBrownIII (talk) 03:59, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not only that, but the content of the sentence was not changed. What I took out was baseless and politically motivated. It was clearly opinion and not fact as evidenced by there being no citation for the claim. JBrownIII (talk) 19:20, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm 94rain. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Talk:Rocky Marciano— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. 94rain Talk 08:48, 17 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors, as you did with this edit to User:94rain. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. 94rain Talk 09:05, 17 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you purposefully and blatantly harass a fellow Wikipedian, as you did at User talk:94rain. 94rain Talk 09:41, 17 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Talk:Project 2025, (described by another editor as "trolling") did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Lol...by "another editor" you mean YOU. HAHAHAHA. Too rich. JBrownIII (talk) 16:28, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
We have the receipts: edit difference. See the edit summary in the right-hand pane. Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 17:05, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Project 2025. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Talk:Project 2025) for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Doug Weller talk 19:27, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | tålk 21:59, 12 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Block me harder, Daddy. JBrownIII (talk) 22:38, 12 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, Bishonen and I don't share your proclivities. As these requests have nothing to do with unblocking you and you don't seem to plan to ask to be unblocked, I'm removing your access to this talk page. You can still appeal via WP:UTRS. Doug Weller talk 08:57, 13 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
