Proposed deletion of Unamed Mitchell edit

The article Unamed Mitchell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

If the character hasn't been named, then it's probably WP:TOOSOON.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. January 2017 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Denise Fox, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. We do not add the names of unborn children until they have been born. Apart from them possibly not being born, we do not have names until then. 5 albert square (talk) 21:30, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Denise and Phil's son edit

Hi,

Stop adding the child to the infobox. Unless the character recieves a name, he remains to off. His introduction is mentioned in the storyline section of their pages.

Speedy deletion nomination of Andrew O’Connor (chef) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Andrew O’Connor (chef) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  GILO   A&E  18:54, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Stacey Slater edit

From the looks of things, Stacey slater is the more common name for this fictional character. If you think the page should be moved to Stacey Fowler I would encourage you to open a discussion on Talk:Stacey Slater or Wikipedia:Requested moves then advertise the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject EastEnders to see if there is a consensus to move the page or not. In any case, the name in the "infobox" should match the page name. If there is, an administrator can move the page over the existing redirect. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 23:06, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Gillian Anderson edit

Do you have any citations/proof she's British? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sanbear (talkcontribs) 10:02, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Page Moves edit

Please read WP:COMMONNAME. A discussion should be held on the talk page of the article before performing page moves like you did to Dot Cotton and Little Mo Mitchell.-- 5 albert square (talk) 02:53, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

And Pat Butcher. Please stop moving pages for EastEnders characters, they are all at the correct location. Move them back now please. — 🌼📽️AnemoneProjectors💬 14:25, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
AnemoneProjectors I've moved Pat back too. Jacob, please be more careful when moving pages in the future. In the case of Lynne Hobbs, there is already a redirect created under Lynne Slater. Therefore creating Lynne Slater (EastEnders) was completely unnecessary. If she was ever to become more commonly known as Slater instead of Hobbs, the Wikipedia article would then be Lynne Slater.-- 5 albert square (talk) 16:20, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you 5 albert square. Jacob I suggest you comment instead of becoming one of those people who ignores every message and continues to do the things you're asked not to. Learning to use Wikipedia properly and becoming part of the community here is very rewarding, if you're up for actually helping in constructive ways. — 🌼📽️AnemoneProjectors💬 18:54, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Jacob, I've now had a proper look at your edits. I can see that you previously moved Stacey Slater and you moved it to Stacey Fowl and Stacey Fowle, these aren't even the correct page name. She's only ever been known as Stacey Slater, Branning or Fowler and Jenny Smith. I can see that above someone requested that you post for page moves at WP:RM so I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't do that for the pages you moved earlier. In future, can you please ensure that you request page moves either there or by posting on the talk page of the relevant article? As AnemoneProjectors has said, learning to edit Wikipedia properly is very rewarding.-- 5 albert square (talk) 22:14, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've also deleted those two awful redirects and sorted out the redirect history as well as the redirect talk pages! — 🌼📽️AnemoneProjectors💬 15:46, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
