There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Izenda

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Izenda, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand the apparent conflict of interest in regards to the current username and see how it would dilute Wikipedia's objectivity. I will not try to create a page for Izenda under this name, but would like to keep the IP unblocked should I decide to create any other pages or make any edits in the future.

Decline reason:

Your choice of new username seems acceptable. However, since you seem to suggest you have no edits you want to make at this time, there is no need to remove the block. Also, you seem to suggest that you would edit about Izenda under another name or while logged out; that's not how this works. If you want to edit, you need to get this account unblocked first as blocks are on the individual, not the account. You are welcome to request unblock(and request your username be changed to your choice of new name) when there is an edit that you want to make. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 14:48, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I would like to add citations to the article Business Reporting. I understand that I was blocked due to the apparent conflict of interest in regards to my username and the page I attempted to create. I understand that were it published, it would dilute Wikipedia's objectivity. Once unblocked, I would like to change my username and add citations to the aforementioned article. Thank you.

Decline reason:

CU confirmed block evasion as User:Opcode1, used to create the exact same draft. Yunshui  08:08, 16 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Actually, on further review it appears that Opcode1 is the older account, and both are socks of User:Izendadigitalmarketing. Izenda employees have been trying to shoehorn a promotional article into Wikipedia for around fourteen years now, so I am salting both the article and draft. Yunshui  08:13, 16 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
