Gomsi

edit

Hi Iynod Agat, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I had to remove some text you added to the Gomsi article, because it was a literal copy of copyrighted work. It's great that you add content to this article, but please don't just copy text you find somewhere on the internet. That's not only bad style, most often it's also violating copyright laws. You're more than welcome to add the information contained in the source you found, but you have to phrase it in your own words.

Here's a few more comments to help you get started:

  • Wikilinking related articles is a good and important thing, but one should usually only link the first appearance of a term or name, and the "See also" section is meant for links to topics that are not mentioned and linked in the text yet.
  • We don't see letters to the editor of a newspaper as reliable sources, since people can write just about anything there. It would be good to find some better sources that support the same statements. The article could also use a few more sources to establish the notability of the topic.
  • You often write edit summaries like "edit an article". Well, it's pretty obvious that you edited an article, you don't need to say that. What would be great to write in the summary is what you did in that edit, like "added a better reference" or "fixed a typo".

Happy editing! — HHHIPPO 21:34, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I have been blocked

I have been block by the administrator name User:Huon, I know the reason how he block me but I would like to apprise the wikipedia community to please give me a chance to be with the wikipedia family, so that i could contribute the articles. In my last user account User:Donyi Taga I had created many articles and try to help the wikipedia community by my best, And in my present user account User:Iynod Agat I have contributed so many articles and try my best level to help the wikipedia community. I am very fond & interesting in editing an english wikipedia article, i love to contribute it, instead of admin blocked me, I make an another user account and try to help my best to conribute to wikipedia. So, with your kindness consideration I would like to use my user account with my real username. Iynod Agat (talk) 23:46, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi: You need to request an unblock with your original account, Donyi Taga, using the Wikipedia:Unblock Ticket Request System. But making a new user account is a problem, not a solution. Blocks apply to the person, not the account; making this account was block evasion. Yngvadottir (talk) 04:56, 27 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
