Armenian edit

Hi, I'v noticed your new aditions to the Armenian language page. especially to the PIE table. I think a good addition the article would the words door-dur and cat-katu. What do you think? VartanM 06:51, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
The word door has been added, but the other word can't because it isn't originaly a Proto-Indo-European word.(Iwtesp7y4)

There are more similare Indo-Iranian with Armeian edit

These words are more similar with Armenian. Please look at the chart, and there is plenty more, 100's of more words similar to Indo-Iranian. 75.17.4.245 21:48, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
It is well known that Armenian has many recognizable cognates with Indo-Iranian languages. However, each column of the table must have a specific source language that is documented, and so I chose Sanskrit, which had available many of the words in the table. Also, the table is for the purpose of showing PIE recognizable Armenian cognates with English, of which there aren't very many. Another point, the spelling of some of the Armenian letters differs somewhat for the sources, and so it isn't nessecary to make some of the spelling changes to fit a certain source, because it will now differ from the one I used, and vice versa.(Iwtesp7y4)
