March 2012 edit

Your posting -- i am the real person who has been writing and editing my site. please leave it alone. you have no idea what you are doing and i am the only one with knowledge of myself from back in the day. i think that is verification enough. thank you, BC — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itismesoleavemypagealone (talkcontribs) 21:02, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reply -- Even if you are claiming to be Brandon Cruz there is no proof to substantiate it. I could claim to Bill Bixby, John Wayne or Santa Claus for that matter. Regardless, you need to realize that it is not your site, it is Wikipedia's article on Brandon Cruz. Wikipedia has steadfast rules that must be followed if you wish to participate -- either under your current username or an anon. IP. I have repeatedly explained that information you added was unsourced. Even if you were Brandon Cruz you would need an independent, verifiable source -- usually something from a media outlet -- to verify it. Personal experience and/or original research does not qualify. The information you have added does not match what has been reported in other reliable independent sources. Before any further editing you really need to read and comprehend the Wikipedia rules of conduct. If you continue this edit warring I will be forced to ask an administrator to block your account and/or IP. Sector001 (talk) 21:29, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:34, 4 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

A summary of site guidelines and policies you should pay attention to edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Brandon Cruz. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Favonian (talk) 01:07, 4 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for personal attacks or harassment; vandalism; persistent additions of unsourced original research, and incivility. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Please contact info-en-q@wikimedia.org if you are really Brandon Cruz and want to confirm that with the WMF. There are still issues with your editing as described above, but clearing those up and getting unblocked shouldn't be too big a problem if you're who you say you are. 67.117.145.9 (talk) 01:53, 4 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
