Speedy deletion of Mr Faatz.

edit

A tag has been placed on Mr Faatz., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Spellcast 20:33, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Anthony Giordano

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Anthony Giordano, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.americanmafia.com/Allan_May_7-26-99.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 07:25, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please note that I found another copyright violation from http://www.crimelibrary.com/gangsters_outlaws/family_epics/louis/6.html when I cleaned up the article. It will have to be removed. Please cite and properly credit sources, but contribute in your own words. • Gene93k (talk) 09:28, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Living persons

edit

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to St. Louis crime family. I just removed your unsourced statement about the alleged boss for the second time. The Matthew Trupiano Jr was deleted for the same reason. Do not post contentious or negative information about living persons without citing multiple reliable sources. Persistent violation of this policy can result in a block. Thank you. • Gene93k (talk) 09:38, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at St. Louis crime family. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. • Gene93k (talk) 10:50, 21 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hangon tagging of Micheal DeAngelo

edit

Hello. I noticed you put a {{Hangon}} tag on the Micheal DeAngelo article. Please note that the article the article is up for 5-day proposed deletion (PROD), not speedy deletion. If you want to challenge the PROD, you can remove the PROD tag. However, the next stop will be an Articles for Deletion debate for editor consensus. At this point, Michael DeAngelo cites no evidence of notability from reliable sources. Are you challenging this PROD? I will watch you talk page for a response. • Gene93k (talk) 11:09, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Dominic Licavoli

edit

The article Dominic Licavoli has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

not notable. prior csd declined

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dlohcierekim 01:15, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Luigi Antonini

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Luigi Antonini requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://luigiantonini.com/bio.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
