Hi Simon,

Thank goodness Wikipedia maintains a history for user pages, else I'd have never figured out whom to post this to :-)

In reference to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Cones_SMJ2_E.svg , the original poster had created a PNG using what I assume is the data from http://www.cvrl.org/database/text/cones/smj2.htm (perhaps filtered or mathematically altered in some way?). I simply took that PNG image and traced it very carefully. This is how I create most of the SVG's I've added to Wikipedia, since original source material is either impossible to find or requires processing/rendering skills that I do not possess (or sometimes I just can't be bothered to look for it ;-) ). I think Wikipedia has since deleted the PNG image (my fault - I forgot to cross link to it). Do you by chance have it in your browser cache (I don't)? If so, would you mind re-uploading it and linking mine against it so it doesn't get lost again?

Anyways, since you've looked at the data on that page, if you do happen to come up with a more accurate chart than mine, feel free to overwrite mine. :-) Vanessaezekowitz (talk) 05:42, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
