Vandalism??? edit

I will be keeping an eye on your edits after your anti-Kurdish vandalism against the Kurdistan Workers' Party article. Remember Wikipedia is neutral so if you hate Kurds or the PKK, you cannot say that on the articles.Kermanshahi (talk) 10:39, 25 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Whether the pinarick massacre happened or Ocalan said "Let's kill and become the authority" may have indeed been true. However, this in no way belongs in the introduction of the article, which is just basic information on the group. There is plenty of room in the article to talk about individual PKK attacks/operations. We don't say in the introduction of this article: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk "he was notorious for massacres against Armenians," either. If I added that, I think quite a few Turks would have problems with that being POV. And your tone has to be neutral, the same way you can't describe Ocalan as "a great hero fighting a legitimate struggle for the liberation of his people against occupation by an oppressive, dictatorial military regime" you cannot describe him as "a notrious murderer who ordered massacres" either.Kermanshahi (talk) 11:46, 1 November 2012 (UTC) --Isb.tr.43 (talk) 04:06, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

So, what I understand is that you want to represent the PKK as evil, rather than looking at ideology, sources, way normal wp articles are built. The problem here is, that wikipedia is supposed to be neutral, so you can be anti-PKK in your personal life, but you can't be anti-PKK in your edits. Now you're suggestion of making the beginning of the article to be like "the evil PKK slaughtered innocent people in massacres and wants to kill people to become authority" sounds as if it's from some MHP paper rather than an ecyclopedia. Everyone can see extremely POV and that's why I'm not the only one reverting your edits to the article.Kermanshahi (talk) 12:29, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't know whether the Pinarick massacre even happened or was a massacre, or who carried it out. But you haven't provided any sources proving the PKK claimed responsibility, only Turkish regime sources with clear anti-PKK bias. But it's irrelevant, what matters is that this relatively unknown incident does not belong in the main/introduction section of the PKK article.Kermanshahi (talk) 14:02, 20 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
