Earlonne Woods

edit

Hi there,

It looks like the article you started, Earlonne Woods, was turned into a redirect to Ear Hustle. Unfortunately the user who did so didn't leave any explanation why, so here's why: for articles about living people, and especially for living people notable primarily in connection with a crime (even if that crime is incidental to their real claim to fame, i.e. a podcast), there is a very high bar for referencing. It is important to draft such articles in your sandbox first, making sure you can include several high-quality references. Once you do so, it may be a good idea to ask Shalor (Wiki Ed) for feedback before moving it into the article again.

Being somewhat familiar with the subject (I started the Ear Hustle article), my sense is that it might make sense to expand that article first (adding more information about Woods there, maybe even creating a separate section on the hosts instead of a single "background" section) rather than create a separate article. It's been a while since I've looked for sources, though. The big question is whether Woods is notable for things outside of Ear Hustle. If not, it would be best to cover him in the Ear Hustle article. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 15:22, 18 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
