Please discuss what you tagged as unconstructive editing on the article talk page. Deleting a ref is more unconstructive than adding a fact so not sure what your point is.2607:FB91:E56:4124:51FE:10A0:AF2:1C93 (talk) 19:38, 13 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

July 2023 edit

I noticed that a message you recently left to a newcomer may have been unduly harsh. Please remember not to bite the newcomers. If you see others making a common mistake, consider politely pointing out what they did wrong and showing them how to correct it. It takes more time, but it helps us retain new editors. Thank you. What did I do? edit

Why did you remove what I added i wasn't wrong? Abigail Malice-Mizer Fan (talk) 20:16, 13 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi and thanks for editing! I'm not IsaacAndHisIsaac but I can tell you that description you added on the Malice Mizer page, "for all of the amazing music they produced", was most likely a contributing factor in the decision to revert your edit. The phrase is not neutral, but favourable to the music. Wikipedia is written to have an encyclopaedic tone, not biased against or in favour of anything, thus, whilst your description fits how a fan might consider the music, it isn't fit for any reader worldwide. I hope that is clear! ButterCashier (talk) 11:46, 14 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:55, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
