Your repeated addition of totally non-notable trivia on Theresa May edit

Hello. You have now been reverted by two different editors, so please stop adding the material. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a blog, and does not publish non-notable trivia. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 13:19, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Irving2000 (talk) 14:22, 10 December 2016 (UTC) Hi Thomas In answer to the above, I must disagree with your assertion that my edit concerned non-notable material, and would be interested to know on what grounds you hold yourself as judge to what counts as notable? First off, if it was not notable, please explain why it was reported on in national broadsheets, such as The Guardian source that was quoted? Second, you may not have found it notable, but no doubt many readers, including myself, found it relevant to understanding the character of a political leader. My statement was grounded in facts, your deletion was based on an opinion.Reply

  • (Copied from my talk page to keep the discussion in one place) We don't include everything that is reported in "national broadsheets", only material that is of general interest, and encyclopaedic, and Theresa May reportedly wearing a pair of very expensive trousers is neither. And since three other editors have now all seen the material you're repeatedly adding as non-notable trivia, you have to start a discussion on the talk page of the article, Talk:Theresa May, and get support from other editors for it, before adding it again. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 14:21, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

December 2016 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Theresa May. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. bonadea contributions talk 13:54, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

October 2017 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Theresa May. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. KylieTastic (talk) 22:32, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Irving2000 Hi Kylie Tastic, I would appreciate it if you refrain from throwing around terms such as "vanadalism". May I point out that it is not unconstructive to provide relevant context. A figure in itself does not mean anything unless put in context, and the context that May has received the lowest ever rating provides the necessary historical context. Therefore the edit was legitimate, and I will re-instate. If you choose to communicate again, please ensure to do so respectfully without implying people are vandals. I have not done this to you.

Drumpf ? edit

Hi, do you have a plugin/addon that changes Drumpf to Drumpf? In which case it may explain this, or it was just vandalism. If you do, please disable before editing. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 22:35, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Irving2000 Hi Kylie Tastic, I simply do not understand this comment. It does not refer or relate to any edit I have made and does not make sense to me. Moreover, and as respectfully requested of you previously, I would appreciate it if you refrain from throwing around terms such as "vanadalism". May I point out that I have not done this to you.

Allow me to provide another link which shows the changes made by you. Perhaps you intentionally changed Drumpf to Drumpf? Whether intentional or not, please don't do that. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 19:52, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Irving2000 Let me categorically say, I have made NO edits whatsoever concerning Drumpf or Drumpf. Please ensure your facts are correct before insinuating such.

I suggest you look at the links again, and this one, in order to recognise the problem and seek a solution, because if it continues, you'll be blocked from editing. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 20:27, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Irving2000 This is complete nonsense and I simply have no idea what you are on about.

  • Hi, what we are talking about is changing the actual name of the 45th President of the United States to Drumpf. It appears you do have something installed (probably Drumpfinator) doing these change so I guess all you are seeing is the word Drumpf over and over not as we see "T R U M P" (without spaces) being changed to "D R U M P F".
