Hello Irshad Aqib. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Irshad Aqib. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Irshad Aqib|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 11:28, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Irshad Aqib, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Irshad Aqib|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 13:27, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Bunyad

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Bunyad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://bunyad.lums.edu.pk/website/page/introduction-9, https://bunyad.lums.edu.pk/website/page/editorial-policy, and https://bunyad.lums.edu.pk/website/page/guidelines-for-authors. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. 331dot (talk) 08:22, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Can you please tell me the details of "undisclosed paid editor" I am university employ and this is assigned by university. Irshad Aqib (talk) 10:32, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please read WP:PAID for more information and instructions. If you are employed by the university and have been instructed to write about the journal, that makes you a paid editor and the Wikipedia Terms of Use require you to formally disclose that. You should also read about conflict of interest. You have been given a very difficult task by your university, which is extremely unfair to you. The approach you are taking in writing about the journal needs to change if you are going to continue. Instead of describing the existence of the journal, its offerings, and features, you must instead summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the journal, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable academic journal. Please read Your First Article. 331dot (talk) 11:05, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
The Journal is of Gurmani Centre for Languages and Literature from LUMS Lahore, what if to add just basic about the journal, so that if someone search it appears. I don't know know what's the issue in it. What is the procedjure for adding just details. Irshad Aqib (talk) 11:16, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
That's not what Wikipedia is for- Wikipedia is for summarizing what others completely unaffiliated with the journal say about it, not what those associated with it want to say about it. I apologize for being frank, but Wikipedia has no interest in enhancing search results for your journal. Feel free to show those who asked you to edit this message. You will still need to make the required disclosure. If you find the coding too difficult- that is fine- just write a statement on your user page(User:Irshad Aqib) saying that you have been asked by your employer, the university, to edit about the journal. 331dot (talk) 11:21, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
So, What's the simple way out now? This is basically a research Journal, a distinguished journal in field of Urdu Literary Criticism. We need a Wikipedia for that. Irshad Aqib (talk) 11:30, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
There isn't another way out, simple or otherwise, other than what I have already said. No one "needs a Wikipedia"(I assume you mean Wikipedia article), there are, in fact, good reasons to not want one. I'm sorry, but Wikipedia is not responsible for the fact that your employer has given you an impossible task. Again, feel free to show your superiors this conversation. 331dot (talk) 12:25, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
