Hi Irrawaddy0,

I've taken the liberty of writing a few words on your user page (overleaf ... see buttons at the top of your page)—that stops your signature from being red, wherever you use it after leaving a message (just type four tildes in a row after the final full-stop). You'll no doubt want to change what I wrote.

On this page you can communicate with other editors. Articles have "talk" pages as well, where editors discuss the editing of the article. Your user page and your talk page (here), however, are in userspace, as opposed to mainspace for articles.

Any page you create will automatically be on your watchlist, which is possibly a good port of call each time you enter the site. Your watchlist can be accessed from any page through the very top menu. Any other page can be added to your watchlist by clicking the star in the menu at the top (and unclicking it to remove the page from your watchlist).

You might find List of female mathematicians and Category:Women mathematicians useful. I see that the agnesscott link is there already, under "External links". Good!

You can access my talk page to leave a note as you wish by clicking on "(talk)" in my sig. (which I made green). Tony (talk) 02:13, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Nalini - thanks for your note of encouragement! Appreciated. Will let you know how the #ozwomensci WikiBomb goes! Cheers, Maggie — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mvgalea (talkcontribs) 09:46, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
