Re:Ipod certifications edit

Lol, no buddy! There's nothing called Ipod certification. Me and Legolas made it up just for fun. 50 plays and the song gets a platinum certification :D You might have seen Miley being certified on mine (262 plays, precisely) Novice7 (talk) 03:27, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Lol, it was kinda fun. Legolas started it, and I followed :) So, there you go. "Love Story" 3× Platinum, and "Speak Now" 1× Platinum. In my case, "Our Song" would be the most played song by Taylor. It's like 2× Platinum already :D Then there are some Japanese songs, staying at Gold (25 plays) and Silver (15 plays), lol. And, who knows, maybe Apple would add certifications to iPod =D Oh, that's bad :( So, you're editing from mobile (or any wireless equipment) or someone else's computer? Novice7 (talk) 03:49, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Mine has gotten more plays too. And, lol, it is kinda :D Please don't get me wrong. When I first saw you edit Miley pages, I thought you were someone from Apple :D Well, My Ipod is kinda ruined too. The headphone (earphone) is kind of broken. It creates distortion :D And, you're editing from your dad's computer. Awww, so nice :) Novice7 (talk) 04:12, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
That's awesome! I will have to wait till May to get one (real life is kinda boring right now). Do tell me about your Ipod "certifications" then :D Just kidding.. Novice7 (talk) 03:26, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
What about a "no need for computer" charger? I don't have one, but I think they're good. Novice7 (talk) 03:36, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I mean, Ipods are charged by plugging them to the USB port, right. There are chargers which can be plugged in to the wall outlet like this. I hope I'm correct :) Novice7 (talk) 04:28, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Please tell me that I'm a fool. I didn't even think before typing in the thing about the wall outlets :D Yep, iTunes... :| Novice7 (talk) 05:09, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
That felt nice, lol. So, a few months back you said something about working on a Spanish album. How is it coming along? Novice7 (talk) 05:21, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Of course I saw "Love Story". It's really flawless, and a possible "future FA". Maybe you can nominate it for an FA after Wonder World Tour's done? And, about Spanish album.. I hope everything clears out :) Novice7 (talk)

Me? You're a very nice person :) Good luck on all your articles. Actually, I started modeling mine after yours :D Novice7 (talk) 05:43, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Lol. Well, "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)"? I'm working on an album, which will be modeled after Breakout. It's not complete, and I'll surely let you know when it's done :) Novice7 (talk) 05:55, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thank you thank you thank you... It's an honor receiving compliments from someone who acts as a role model for others, especially music articles. Yeah, finding information was really tough. I had to dig the internet up :D Novice7 (talk) 06:32, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks again. Yes, I know. Many websites archive their articles a month after they're published. Then, we have to pay to access them :| Novice7 (talk) 06:40, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
No :) I rely on the read-online websites and some old newspaper archives. Novice7 (talk) 06:43, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well, thank you. "Irresistible" is kind of Britney-XTina mashup. Teen poppy, lol. "With You" is such a great 'feel good' song. I'm working on her articles bit by bit :) Novice7 (talk) 06:53, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Love Story GA edit

Hey Ipodnano! I just passed Love Story for GA. It was a great article and was written beautifully there were a few problems but since I don't think I will be around this weekend I just did them for you so I could pass it. Keep up the spectacular work on Taylor Swift article :)--Blackjacks101 (talk) 19:56, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much. I had no idea that it was even being reviewed. Last time I saw it an IP was the reviewer and, since IPs can't do GA reviews, I left it alone. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 20:15, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

PRODs edit

The edit summary that you provided here is incorrect. Wikipedia:Proposed deletion provides that any editor may contest a proposed deletion and once a prod notice is removed it may not be restored. This is actually stated in the prod notice text, which says "You may remove this message if you improve the article or otherwise object to deletion for any reason" and "If this template is removed, it should not be replaced" Your restorations of the prod notice[1][2][3] were therefore inappropriate. If you still think the article needs to be deleted, you need to nominate it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. --AussieLegend (talk) 03:25, 23 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Time of Our Lives (Miley Cyrus song) edit

I have removed the proposed deletion tag you placed on The Time of Our Lives (Miley Cyrus song), as per policy an article that has been discussed at Articles for deletion cannot be deleted via proposed deletion. Additionally, this edit summary suggests to me that deletion is not uncontroversial, thereby failing the primary criteria for proposed deletion. If you still believe the article should be deleted, you are welcome to open another AfD discussion by following the steps at WP:AFDHOWTO. Please read WP:BEFORE before doing so. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:51, 23 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

FAC resolved comments edit

Hi Ipodnano. I just wanted to leave a note here about the resolved template. I would add it, but it's generally considered unfavorable to add templates to FAC pages so the delegates can more easily see what has been suggested. I'll look into it and make sure, though, to make sure I'm not mistaken about that.-RHM22 (talk) 03:01, 24 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

More (and bigger) is required... and [6]. Absolutely, we can't let them take away our dignity :D Let's get over it. Okay, so, I'm going to start work on a Martina McBride song, but I don't know how to start the background. Should I mention her previous album and label change, or just start with the song's inspiration? If you're wondering which song it is, it's "Teenage Daughters" (and you can view an awful sandbox draft here) Novice7 (talk) 05:02, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Haha! You're totally right. Anyways, if you're going to include information about the label change (because it's relevant to the song), than place it before the inspiration. However, it all depends on the information. Summarize it for me. And I'm going to work on "Teardrops on My Guitar". -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 05:23, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
"Teardrops" is such an amazing song! These are the links I'll be using ->[7], [8], [9]. Novice7 (talk) 05:35, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

It actually took me some time to warm up to the song. And I think you could briefly touch on it before the song's inspiration, but personally I think it relates more to the album as a whole. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 05:44, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I'll just mention that she changed label, and then start on the song's inspiration. Novice7 (talk) 05:51, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Story of Us cover edit

The cover was posted by a website called coverlandia back in November of 2010. I don't know why that website is using it. I guess they have a history of using fanmade covers, as Unique said on my talkpage. nding·start 00:36, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

No problem. It does look pretty real, doesn't it? :P We'll probably get an official one in a few weeks. I wonder if they are ever going to do anything else with "Mean" though. nding·start 00:56, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I didn't mean cover, I meant with like the release and stuff. I mean, it was only sent to country radio. There was no promo, or anything. I hope they release a video for it. I honestly don't know. I knew they were gonna release "The Story of Us", and I'm happy about that. "Speak Now" deff needs to be released. They should release it in like July or August, and then release "Enchanted" as the last single for the winter. I think it'd be perfect. :) nding·start 01:32, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

RPM edit

Hi there, its actually quite easy, I'll show you. This is the home page. Select what chart you want (either Top Singles or Albums) then type in the name of the song or album and press 50 for # of page references. Let's say you type "Dreamlover" by Mariah Carey, so I'll type in "Dreamlover" under singles, and search. Now, since we know the song was released at the end of July 1993, we look down the dates until we kind that date. Scroll down and keep going to the next page until you find th first date in 1993, August 14 Perfect, thats probably the debut week, its here. It debuted at #60. Now to find its peak, you have to keep randomly searching further weeks. Press back and try four weeks later. Ah, four weeks later we are at #1!, gotta keep going to see how long its stays there. Ok, we stopped at October 23 1993, its been at #1 for six weeks. The following week begins its decline so you can keep searching further weeks until it drops out so you can reveal how many weeks the song stayed in the chart in total. Now for its Year-End position, look for usually the last few in the year, like the December weeks. I found it, December 18 1993, the song finished #2 on the Year-End Chart :D. Does it make sense now? Make sure when you source it, that you source it as RPM. Good luck and let me know if your still stuck.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 22:40, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Oh sorry lol. The search is a little weird so type Dream lover with a space :) that should do it.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 22:58, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Don't type the artist. Just type Dream Lover and press enter. Then just look for the week that coincides with the week the song was released or around there. Make sure you press "Top Singles" and "50".--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:02, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
No problem! I'd say up to around 1999 :S, so I use it for older songs, hence Mariah during the 90s :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:11, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Then I use the Canadian Albums or Singles Charts published by Allmusic, seen here and here.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:27, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yes I know. Unfortunately, none of the singles from Mimi have Canadian peaks available. I don't know why :S. But thats all I got for Canada, unless you want to search through Billboard. Is there a song you are looking for in particular?--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:34, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yup, I don't know why :S. But its only for 2005-06, its good for her following singles.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:53, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE: Extranjera edit

I don't know, according to this "Ya No" has been released as a CD single, and (as now) there is not a second part of Extranjera. According to us, it'll be released on June 14, 2011, so we can wait what Dulce María and Universal want to do. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 20:21, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I believe it should be done like this, write a description about the second release, and move the tracklisting down. If they release a DVD from her tour, it could be splited in a new article. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 20:34, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
That could be an option, mark Extranjera as a studio album on the main infobox and comment in the lead that it was released as a double EP, with months of difference. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 20:53, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've seen the first part cover at my local CD shop. The cover is the same as this cover but it says "Primera parte" below "Extranjera", so the current image should go. I do not think the second part will be different. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 21:02, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
ooo I see. I'm not against using two covers in articles unless they are similar. Due it is different from Extranjera/E. First part, I believe both can go, it passes NFCC#8, especially because it is not a re-release nor other reasons. So I think that cover (or change it for the first part) and the current can go together. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 21:09, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
With one is enough, unless it become The Fame/The Fame Monster. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 23:28, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
  You're welcome! Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 23:52, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hola buddy! Hmm, that is a bit complicated. Well, here it goes. The EP is an extended single (which cannot be considered a studio set). The second release with 14 tracks is a studio album because many artists release an EP first and then put those songs on their next effort. It cannot be considered a compilation as compilations usually include songs from different albums (including live, demos etc.) A re-release? I don't think it is. Normally, re-releases include three or four extra tracks. +7 tracks means... Well, that cannot be considered a re-release... If you're going to fix them, it's better you couple these two (EP and studio album) under a single title. You can mention that the EP was "re-released as a studio album". As for the singles, they can be included under the studio album section (the 14 track set). Hope this helps. If you find my explanation hard, please do ask me again :) Novice7 (talk) 06:45, 26 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Uh oh, that would make a big confusion! Novice7 (talk) 05:13, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Really? That's strange.. Hmm... Her label might have interfered?? Novice7 (talk) 04:21, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Oh.. That explains the low sales over there! Anyway, good luck with the project :) I know it's going to be difficult to gather sources for a Spanish album :D Novice7 (talk) 03:57, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Liz - really early on, I liked it from what I can remember
  • That's So Raven - loved it & still do (OH SNAP!)... I loved it's spunkiness and I LOVED the episode when they threw a party when they're parents were out. I loved her little booty dancing (THIS is MY JAM)! HATED CORY IN THE HOUSE though. That show was just plain out horrible.
  • Phil - loved it, but hated the ending... what is that? Why can't him & Keeley be together?
  • Zack & Cody - loved the original & never liked it On Deck
  • HM - do I even need to say anything?
  • Wizards - I LOVED Wizards. It was so amazing in its first 3 seasons. I made me laugh hysterically, especially Selena. She was the funniest by far, then Max, Harper, the mom, the dad, and I hate Justin. He's pretty annoying.
  • SWAC - good show. but I know I'm not gonna watch it without Demi, even though my favorite was Tawny. I also liked the real princesses of NJ sketch. so funny!
  • JONAS - ewwww. They were the worst actors know to mankind and in L.A. were even worse. Disney tried to make it all dramatic and it just didn't work out for them.
  • Good Luck Charlie - first season wasn't good, but now it's really funny... especially the mom & Ivy. Bridgit is O.K. but not a Miley, Demi or Selena. Plus, she's way too old to be fresh face in Disney.
  • Shake It Up - had some expectations for the girls. I thought the one whose name starts with a Z might have been the new teen queen, but no. It's still early in the game for them so who knows? The show isn't all that good (except for Gunter and Tinka)
  • ANT Farm - looks really stupid and those kids are way too young to be the stars.

There you go. That was quite extensive. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 07:39, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

You read my mind!! Hmm, here are mine (excluding the ones I find boring)
  • Lizzie – Love(d) it! Hilary was soo cute back then. Movie was good too.
  • Raven - no words! This is a "don't miss at all" show. Everything about the show was just amazing!! Yeah, Cory in the House was boring (without Raven, the show is just plain)
  • Phil of the Future - a bit old for me, but I've always loved it.
  • Zack and Cody - Loved Maddie! Loved London! Loved Carey! Loved the kids! The show was just perfect (except a few episodes without Ashley and London). On Deck was boo...
  • HM - love you Hannah!!!!
  • WOWP - omg, my third fave after HM and Liz! Selena is amazing.
  • SWAC - agreed. Tawny rules the show. Demi is good too. (lol you should see Barney & Friends)
  • JONAS - skip..
  • GLC - haven't seen it. Is it really good enough to see?
  • SIP - same as GLC
  • ANT Farm - the title itself.. lol.. I haven't seen it (will probably see when it comes out). If it's boring, they should move it to Playhouse Disney lmao :D

Finally, someone except me and Candy who loves Disney! I agree, there are no good shows atm. Btw, do you watch Nick too? I loved Drake & Josh (especially Miranda. Lol, she was evil). Novice7 (talk) 07:52, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Lol, you watch Good Luck Charlie. It's the best thing Disney right now. Shake It Up isn't worth it and ANT Farm is just a flat out no. LMAO, moving it to Playhouse Disney would be really good or Disney XD. Nick never had really good shows. Zoey 101 was my favorite before iCarly and Victorious came on. I liked Drake & Josh but got tired of watching the same episodes over and over. But my favorites goes to Ned's Guide. Best show Nick ever had. I actually cried on the last episode there. Am I retarded or what? iCarly & Victorious are really working for them now. They're actually better than Disney atm. The redhead is JUST WAY TOO FUNNY on Victorious. And if you see her videos on YouTube she sings amazingly. Take a look -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 08:02, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Wow she can sing. Zoey 101! I remember! Jamie! Omg, you have a taste similar to mine! I love these shows! Novice7 (talk) 10:26, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Haha I love yalls analysis of Disney and I agree with both of them. That's So Raven is the essential best Disney show, Jonas was wack, and SLOZC was miles better than the ill-conceived SLOD (I feel the transition to Z&C to SLOD was like TSR to CITH). However, at times I did like Cory in the House, mostly due to Madison Pettis and Maiara Walsh. Maiara never got her chance to be a Disney Diva *sobs* lol. WOWP and HM were awesome. The great second generation Disney (Demi, Miley, Selena) is disappearing! Good Luck Charlie is getting better, but Bridgit Mendler is not and will never be a classic Disney diva. I really like Shake It Up, and I'm rooting for it, but it's got to get better. I think when Zendaya and Bella Thorne get older, the show will improve. Zendaya's single "Swag It Out" is coming out soon. But Disney, for one, they are trying to root their stars too young, this girl on ANT Farm is good, but they needed to at least wait until she was 14. And the previews for that show are ehh..but I'll give it a chance. Nick is alright now, I like iCarly (eventually) and it took me a long time to warm up to Big Time Rush (which mind you is a MILLION TIMES BETTER than Jonas). I just don't like Victorious because I feel like they are always trying to shove Victoria Justice down our throats. I don't know if Nick can get better than Zoey 101 anytime soon though, but they are doing good. Also, like I root for Shake It Up, I root for True Jackson, VP, but Keke Palmer just isn't funny. Well I'm done with my rant :) Candyo32 18:13, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, she's way too young. Even 13 would have been good enough, but 9? I don't think so. I really hated Cory in the House. It was probably even worse than JONAS, well at least for me. The best show for me has to go down to Wizards, then a tie for second by TSR and HM. Candy, I kind of feel the same way. Victoria has had like 3 music videos and they should really give the other girls a chance. They're both REALLY good. Also, "Swag It Out"? Uhh, no. It already seems like she's trying to hard with just a title. I never liked True Jackson. And too bad Jaime got pregnant -.- lol -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 02:29, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
A 9 year old is way too young, I agree :| CITH was borring (yea, in my opinion). Oh my goodness, JONAS... I watched the first few episodes and never bothered to see the rest :D I loved Lizzie McGuire (way back then). Raven is my all time fave and I love Wizards! To be frank, I haven't seen Nick much since that boring Genie in the House... I have to now :P And, "Swag It Out"? Aiming for Willow Smith? Lol. Yeah, Jamie.. poor girl :( Novice7 (talk) 04:35, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well actually the preview of "Swag It Out" sounds nothing like Willow lol! Its much more toned down. I don't know, it seems like Disney is so contrived now and all of their new stuff is just a low-grade version at an attempt at their past work. Speaking of, that Lemonade Mouth was pure trash. Except I did like some of their songs. But idk, I think Jonas was worse that CITH. I mean when Jonas was humorous, I could tolerate it a bit. But when they went all soap-opera-y on Jonas L.A., that was the absolutely worst. Until they find girls to fill the shoes of Selena, Demi, and Miley, disney is gonna be at a stand still. I think Bella and Zendaya can do it, but I hear they are giving Debby Ryan her own show now......SMH. After we saw her sleep her way through three years on SLOD, I can't believe she's getting her own. Candyo32 12:42, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
What is Disney thinking? Debby Ryan doesn't have the spunk, charisma, or talent to pull of her own show. That show's gonna be canceled in its first week. And what could it be about? They already graduated high school. Disney's audience certainly not going to like a show about college. The first thing I thought of was Willow actually. I'm yet to see Lemonade Mouth or hear their songs. "Somebody" isn't that good. It's like 2.5/5 stars. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 15:56, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
The show, Jessie sees Ryan, an 18-year old rural Texas native, move to New York and be the nanny for four children living in a multi-million dollar penthouse. The concept isn't half bad, and it said that it skipped the pilot phase straight to production. I'll leave judgment till it comes on. I'm just gonna need Debby to try to act. She's not that good, and her performances near the end of SLOD were stellar compared to her beginning. I'm not saying she's good, but those first episodes of SLOD I could hardly watch because of her absoultely horrible acting. And also, Disney is planning some sort of Glee-like series with original music (Mehhhh :|). So Z's song was leaked, and it was rushed to iTunes today. Doesn't sound too bad, but its on the repetitive side, and just doesn't go hard enough though. [10] Candyo32 16:19, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
I don't like it at all. It's too repetitive and I hate part when she talks about her nails (reminds me a little of "Friday"). The concept for Jessie isn't bad. It's kind of like The Nanny, which was one of my FAVORITE TV shows ever! It's true Debby cannot act and the article says Selena's gonna be in it. Is that true? And I'm not excited for the Glee' thing either. One Glee is enough! -- ipodnano05 * leave@message

Speak Now edit

I just read you're going to Taylor concert! I hope you'll be taking photos :) I've got information on Speak Now's recording from Sound on Sound and I hope we you can make it an FA :P Novice7 (talk) 03:36, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Haha! Thanks. I AM! My first concert EVER! I'm not gonna be too close, so my pictures will most probably be kind of crappy. But, hey, better than nothing? lol. FA is scary :S I've never had an FA before. But I'll try. Right now I'm gonna work on Fearless. Care to help me look for sources and interviews and such... you're pretty good at that. And I remember some interview in some newspaper that had a video where she talked about "Hey Stephen", but I cannot find it anymore. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 03:47, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I found the video on YouTube. Don't know what good that is, but it sure ought to help. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 03:56, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'm on it! I'll find the sources for Fearless. The video can be used as it is by The NY Times. I agree that FA is kinda scary, but I feel SN can easily become one. Don't worry about pictures lol. As you said, it's better than nothing. When are you going? Novice7 (talk) 03:59, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
In November. Only in 5 months and a half! -.- lol -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 04:24, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Jessica Simpson edit

Yeah, I likelove Jessica Simpson. I didn't like her much before, but after reading books on her, I admire her a lot. IWLYF is one difficult song. She herself said in an interview that she's scared to sing the song as it's too high. People say she lost her voice, but she hasn't actually :D It's quality has deteriorated (due to age, strain on vocal chords etc.).. And, people say she's not good and, you know, all kinds of bad stuff. She's a really nice person. She is currently more focused on her cloth, shoes etc. collection and also marriage :) I hope she comes back soon with a good album/song. And, to all the people who say Miley can't sing, that note was amazing (I hope you meant that??). Miley's voice has become nasally, that's for sure, but she can sing :) Novice7 (talk) 06:24, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, vocal training can help her for sure. Actually, I love Jessica Simpson, but I would die for Whitney Houston and fight for Faith Hill lmao. I love these three women a lot. Yes, Miley has a great range but her nasal voice overshadows her range. Lol, I haven't forgotten about Fearless, I'll post the sources in a few hours :) Novice7 (talk) 07:26, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Since you like Taylor, you should like Faith too ;) As for Fearless, I think AOL's The Boot has some information. Also, I forgot the link, but in 2007 she said that she had already started working on the album (to Modesto Bee). I'll find it. Also, the Fealess Bonus DVD must have something, doesn't it?? I'll check it out.
Well, my favorite artists are Whitney Houston (obviously), Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Lady Antebellum, Mandy Moore (you should listen to her), Jessica Simpson, Miley and Taylor and a bit of Justin Timberlake, Usher, Josh Turner, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. Well, mostly country artists, lol. But, I do love other artists like Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Kylie Minogue and Colbie Caillat :) A big list, eh? Lol. To be honest, I'm not a big Shakira fan. I loved her before she went all "nasally" :| Katy Perry... I loved her One of The Boys better than Teenage Dream :) I love the old Katy. Novice7 (talk) 04:37, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
What about this? Also, maybe this and this? Novice7 (talk) 04:49, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
You forgot MC silly :P--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 11:10, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh damn, I did. How could I?? *stabs himself* MC!!! (mostly pre-2005 MC :P) Novice7 (talk) 13:06, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well, lol I do love country music. It's very pure and raw. I'm not a big fan of both GnR and The Beatles (though I like The Beatles' songs). I loved Miranda and Selena too :) I don't listen to them now :D I like Adele, Beyonce.... Well, I loved her before Sasha Fierce and the new album is going nowhere! I bought Sale el Sol and I must say it's better than She Wolf. Omg, I forgot Kelly Clarkson! She is awesome! I have all her albums! Not a big John Mayer (don't worry, Jessica hates him too lol) fan, tbh. Avril, Demi are okay and I love Hilary! Haven't heart of Luis :( Yeah, me too. I love all kinds of music. "Breathe" is a really good song. As for MC, you should hear "Whenever You Call" or "Butterfly" (although I'm not sure if you would like them). Long reply, I know :D As for Fearless, glad to help out buddy :) I'll search the website for the article. Novice7 (talk) 04:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I don't read or write Spanish. I remember hearing some Agustin Almeyda?? guy's songs like Nunca Mas?? It was cool. I don't like I Am... Sasha Fierce; compared to B'Day, it was trash. As for Hilary, I have Dignity too :P "Play with Fire" is good, and I agree, Hilary Duff is not good. Metamorphosis is cool and love almost all the songs in it :) Novice7 (talk) 06:25, 6 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
"With Love" is too "techno" for me. I love "Stranger" :) I like Gaga's songs (mostly songs from The Fame)... That's all lol :D Novice7 (talk) 06:07, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Small help edit

I saw the wonderful recording section you have for "Love Story", I was wondering, can you find me similar recording info for any of Gaga's songs or Madonna's? — Legolas (talk2me) 05:58, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Dude, Novice sent me that link. I have no idea where he got that from. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 06:01, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Look, I found something on that very website that can be useful for The Monster Ball Tour. There's the same sort of thing for Best of Both Worlds Tour. But I don't know where to add it. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 06:14, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think you can add it as part of the development though. I will ask Novice. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:18, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Miley disco edit

Wow! I just noticed the amazing job you did on the Miley Cyrus discography page. I really like how you worked in the Hannah Montana discography with it. Shouldn't Hannah Montana discography be deleted/redirect to Miley's now? nding·start 07:51, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you :) I think it should become more for the franchise rather than the fictional singer. If not, then it should be redirected promptly. Can you please start one of those discussions? I'm kind of busy right now. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:02, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
No problem! I sort of agree, but at the same time, don't you think List of Hannah Montana songs pretty much covers it? Sure, I'll put it up for deletion so that more people will be able to see the dicussion. nding·start 19:21, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
For the songs page, would you think that something like List of unreleased Britney Spears songs would work to display them? Maybe use the colors to display which album/year they were released? Just a suggestion. I think that page needs a major revamp! Maybe I'll try something out in my sandbox and you can see if you like the idea. nding·start 19:31, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hey, I think that page should be deleted. I know I created it and everything, but IDK what I was thinking. No artist has that and since she only has like 3 unreleased songs, she can't have the sort of article Spears does. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 19:36, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'm not exactly referring to an unreleased article, but something similar, just to show all the songs. Maybe make the article more than of Glee's songs. Just testing some stuff out right now in my sandbox. I think I got a good idea for it. I find that it could become a very useful article, quite frankly. nding·start 19:40, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Wait, I'm not sure you understood me. List of Hannah Montana song is a good idea if well organized and including all songs and alternate versions of songs. But List of songs by Miley Cyrus is what should be deleted. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 20:07, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh, okay. xD I was a bit confused. I wasn't referring to Miley's herself at all. Do you like the idea of what I got so far? nding·start 20:12, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Depends, are you adding the songs that weren't released on soundtracks but were performed on each season? That's the way I think it should go. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 20:17, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I'm planning on adding those to each section as well. Only the ones performed by Hannah Montana herself though, not the ones by Billy Ray, etc. as it is "List of Hannah Montana songs". nding·start 20:21, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
By "Hannah Montana", it means the show Hannah Montana - not the fictional character. I think you should add songs by Billy Ray and others. One thing that is complicated is finding sources, and titles for short parodies and things like that. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 21:28, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh, alright. I'll keep those in then. I also decided to get rid of the colors, as they were a bit flashy and just kinda gross. Just adding notes instead. What would I credit them as? Their real name, or their name in the show? nding·start 03:33, 25 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

A kitten for you! edit

Don't know if you love kittens, but here's a cute one! Long time no talk Ipodnano!

Novice7 (talk) 04:55, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

How are you? I can see that you're going to do some Shania articles ;) Novice7 (talk) 04:56, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
The kitty is cute, but I hate cats. lol I like dogs. And I'm OBSESSED with Shania! I got really into country after watching the CMT Awards. I added a lot of it to my iPod. Faith's "The Way You Love Me" is one my favorites (I don't think it's country though). And I'm gonna buy Up! and Come on Over tomorrow. How are you? -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 06:12, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I'm doing great! Well, welcome to the world of country music lol. Too bad I already have four of Shania's albums :P (including Up!, Come on Over, Greatest Hits and self-titled debut. The Woman in Me is up next on my list :D) Ooh, I love the way Faith sings... The song isn't country, I agree :) Here's a gift for ya :) Faith is just sooo cool, I love her :D I love Shania a lot too, but "Today Is Your Day" isn't one of my faves :( As you love country, you should listen to Martina McBride and maybe the 'Queen of Country' Reba McEntire :D Novice7 (talk) 06:52, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
OMG! I love you. And I really like "Today Is Your Day". Everything she's been through is so inspirational. Mutt is a dult. I heard "Teenage Daughters" and I really liked it. And I like Reba's "Hear Me on the Radio" (idk if that's what it's called). But I really havent gotten to listen to all of that. I'm busy enjoying Shania. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 07:00, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
You like 'Teenage Daughters'? OMG, I love it too! And, yes, Reba's song "Turn on the Radio", but it's not one of my faves. I love the old Reba (songs like "What Do You Say" and "Wrong Night", "THe Nights the Light Went Out in Georgia" and the beautifully crafted "And Still") Lol, if you love Shania, you should love Faith, Martina, Reba and Trisha Yearwood or even Sara Evans :) Country music always moves me :) Raw, emotional and sweet :) Omg, I can't believe Lange had an affair with some girl behind Shania's back. She is just so sweet and beautiful (infact most country music ladies are down to earth and nice). Novice7 (talk) 07:07, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Not just some girl, her best friend. And I'll check those songs later. Also, I don't think Taylor is country. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 07:11, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to the Project! You can order it online? Also, there is a great Shania bio which you can buy to expand her articles! Don't order the reissue! It's boring (yeah, for me it is. The original version is awesome!) Did you hear "Party for Two"? And, "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!"? They're awesome! And, so is "Don't". Novice7 (talk) 04:58, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I thought about ordering it, but it would take too long. I want it NOW! lol Also, are you talking about her autobiography From This Moment on? And I've hear them ALL from Come on Over and on. I would tell you my favorites, but it's a long list. Anyways, I think her new album is gonna drop in 2012. I don't like "Don't" that much. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 05:09, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I hope you get the CD! 'Cause it's just awesome as I wrote earlier. And, no, not From This Moment On. The book's title is Shania Twain: The Biography, written by Robin Eggar. Lol, a long list? So, have you heard Carrie Underwood? And, I will def. buy the album and "Don't" is very cool. Btw, Billboard is providing access to their archives for free till June 13. I went ahead and archived a lot of charts (links) :P Novice7 (talk) 05:16, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I will those CDs. I will search the entire state if I have to. lol And June 13 already passed... I've hear Carrie for sure. Firs thing I heard. "Before He Cheats" is my absolute favorite by her. I've known it since it came out. I also like "Jesus, Take the Wheel", "Last Name", "Cowboy Casanova", and "Undo It". -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 05:26, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

My favorite Shania songs are "From this moment on", "You're Still the One", "When", "You've Got a Way"... basically the whole of Come on Over. I also love "Ka-Ching", "Up!", "Party For Two", "Thank You Baby". The only songs I hate are from her first album. But anyways, she's the wife I never had.  . — Legolas (talk2me) 12:32, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

All my faves are listed (except "Forever and for Always" and "Up!"). The first album is not that good but I still listen to it. Lol, she's just sweet! I agree! Btw Lego, you listen to Faith or Reba?? Novice7 (talk) 13:42, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I do, Reba's recent album was my jam for sometime. As for Faith, I changed her songs from time to time, because she seriously competed with Shania and also at that time Madonna was releasing one hit album after another, so you can guess where my ear went to. :D — Legolas (talk2me) 14:09, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
You mean All the Women I Am? The album was good, but I prefer her Room to Breathe lol :D I see... Yup, Faith was competing with Shania for a long time (don't forget another great artist Martina McBride, who was also competing with Shania and Faith) and MADONNA! (I love "Hmm... My baby's got a Secret" a lot!) Novice7 (talk) 14:14, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
By this time, I was five and only knew Britney and Christina (... and I always perfected Christina). Plus, I lived in Venezuela and my parents never heard English music. Lego, how do you browse the boxscore? -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:25, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hey Ipod, the boxscore things seems to have been removed from their archives. There is only albums, singles, videos and year-end search. I don't know where it went. If it comes up Iwill let you know. Actually you cannot search with a tour name as tour names are not mentioned in the boxscore sheet. You have to search with a date range. — Legolas (talk2me) 07:00, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Country music edit

I couldn't help but notice that you joined the country music Wikiproject. EXCELLENT! We desperately need editors like you that do such great things for this website. Thanks! I have archived the links and will add them later :) As for Boxscore, nope :( I can't find it. Novice7 (talk) 04:28, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Radio Disney edit

Since you edit many Hannah Montana related articles, I was wondering if Radio Disney has some kind of archive? Because I can't find any source confirming that Demi Lovato's song Don't Forget was released digitally, but it was a single, and since Demi was at Disney back then, maybe it was released to Radio Disney? Uh, i don't know... and i think the cover is fanmade too -.- Pancake (talk) 00:27, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I'm trying, but it's almost impossible to find sources, especially reviews. but now what am I gonna do? I can't find a release date for Don't Forget :\ Pancake (talk) 10:13, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey edit

You're suppose to give reasons why you remove things. Also I talked with someone else and they agreed with me that they were good edits:

Can you check out the following pages and make sure the adds I did are okay? You're Not Sorry Taylor Swift (album). I added the Deluxe edition cover on the Taylor Swift one and with "You're Not Sorry" I added a 30 second sample of the Remix and the information and cover of the remix single release. I think that's it other then the images I added for the Hannah Montana Karaokes of Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana 3 if you could check them out that'd be great! JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 09:43, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

Honestly, I'm not extremely knowledgeable on the policies governing images/files and their copyright issues. To me, your edits seem to be fine. If there is anything wrong with them, though, someone more knowledgeable in this area will notice and let you know. They do look like good edits, to me, however.  Chickenmonkey  10:08, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. I don't think the should be since they are used as they are suppose to be used. JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 05:47, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

-- Chickenmonkey's talk

I went and fixed some of the stuff you removed and included a new section on the "You're Not Sorry" page to include the remix as they are two separate singles released for two separate reasons. You're Not Sorry's single was released to promote Fearless and the remix single was released to promote Swift's guest appearance on CSI. You gotta have good reason to remove someone's information you just can't remove it cause you feel like it. I understand you want to make good pages and all I do too but you gotta use good faith and give reasons why you remove things. That is one of the biggest reasons why edit wars start. Please in the future refrain from removing things people add without reason. Now I added the stuff I posted back and added a separate section for the remix and I gave my reason on the talk page. If you'd like to discuss it further please talk about it there. Thank you JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 07:12, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

They both violate WP:NFCC8. They are not fine edits and do not add anything significant to the article (especially the "You're Not Sorry" remix cover; it is practically the same image of the original). I'm sorry if I didn't explain prior. But those edits are not to remain, see any GA or FA song or album article and you will see no alternate covers are used. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 16:54, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I don't 100% fully understand that and it's okay. Also I noticed your comment about the infobox, on Taylor Swift (album) and someone fixed it on Fearless (Taylor Swift album) to show it as an alternative cover and I figured that's what you meant. Why do GA or FA song or album articles do that? If there are alternate covers you'd think a GA or FA would include them cause that shows how good they are at showing what is being talked about, eg. All Taylor's albums mention their re-releases so why not show what their alternate cover (if any) so people know the difference? I'd be understanding if no one put an alternate cover for say the bonus track edition of Taylor Swift cause they are the same picture but the deluxe edition had an altered cover for that purpose just like the Fearless Platinum Edition, and Speak Now Deluxe Edition their covers were altered as no one would confuse one for the other. But that's me. Also if you notice "You're Not Sorry" mentions the remix being released and if you look on itunes.com it says right on the top You're Not Sorry (CSI Remix) - Single which indicates that it is a single just with an altered cover so as not to confuse it with the single released for "You're Not Sorry". I also want to note here that it probably should be mentioned that the episode "Turn, Turn, Turn" from CSI featured the remix for "You're Not Sorry" in the episode which I noticed aired the same day the remix was released but the article for "You're Not Sorry" says it followed it unless I'm confusing that shouldn't it say it was released simultaneously with the episode? JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 21:09, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I also wanna add to your comment about "And a different section for the remix? It was not that notable." It actually is as clips of it was in the episode Taylor guest in and the ACM performance at the beginning also features clips of the remix. Reference for that is here: HD Taylor Swift You're Not Sorry Live At ACM Awards 2009 (Magic Entrance!) which makes it a little more notable then lead to believe. JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 21:23, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

This user seems to be making problems with other Taylor articles as well. Her newest single articles (Sparks Fly, Story of Us and Mean) have been becoming a mess. Where have you been?! I can't do this all by myself! xD nding·start 22:01, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

JamesAlan, I know you're a good faith editor, but trust me when I say that re-release images are NOT to be used. And, as I have said, GA and FA articles do that to not violate Wikipedia policies, for they do not add anything substantial to the article. Also, by notable I mean it needs third-party coverage or at least play on the radio (like Rihanna's remix of "S&M"). Ending-start, I've been around but not as involved as usual (I'm busy) lol -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 22:35, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Personally, I think the one for the deluxe edition of her debut is fine, but the rest are useless. Hopefully you'll be able to use your magic power to make the articles not shitty when you're not busy anymore. ;) Hope you're well. I've started work on the Hannah songs again, hoping to finish it now. I totally forgot about it! :O nding·start 23:03, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Okay I got it added. I did add the Karaoke covers to all the soundtracks. And as far as the rest I uploaded go I requested deletion of them and they have been removed I remotely gave up. I hope you'll get the Hannah ones fixed. I don't know if I'm gonna add what I noticed above mainly cause I don't feel like it I'll just stick to the things I do find out and add them when I find them. JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 04:55, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've been keeping an eye on those but I have no idea who's doing what and everytime I try to fix it gets removed or people add info that isn't valid and it's like what the world? Those 3 articles are a mess! LOL! And I have not been causing problems on those pages thank you I started the Sparks Fly page and I pointed out things that were incorrect about them on the talk pages. I read stuff and I've notice how people come on here and post things they misread like Mean and the Story of Us being a double a-side when actually the acticle says they are being released for certain genres. "Mean" was released to Country stations while "The Story of Us" was released to pop stations neither of them were released together and I never heard that they were. Whoever read the article reference mistaked the phrase "dual format assault" for what it wasn't. So don't blame me for trying to fix mistakes that people have made and say I'm making problems cause I'm not. JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 05:16, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but I did not say anything of the sort. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 05:34, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Old info edit

Hey Ipod. Well, its not that old :P I would either look for a bio/music info book on her online, and try and find it a library. If not, then go to google news archives. I'll do the search for you here. I see some nice stuff here. Look through these and see :) Aside from the news archives and books, that's all I've got :S--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 03:18, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I see... I'm sure those websites will help :) Novice7 (talk) 04:16, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, did you try any fansites? They may have scans of magazine from 2002/2003/2004.. Yeah, but Shania's is a bit easy when compared to say, Reba, Martina or Jessica. She is quite popular you know. Novice7 (talk) 04:49, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, she's very popular! I plan to work on both Reba's and Martina's articles soon (+many other country singers' articles). I'll try some fan websites. Novice7 (talk) 05:06, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I also wanna do some Sporty C articles :D Have you listened to her? Songs like "Northern Star", "Never Be the Same Again" etc.? They're very cool! Yes, I know which article you did. It is "Back to Tennessee", right? Looks great! As for Shania, "Forever and for Always" would be a bit easier than "IOHWIB". Hey, "You're Still the One" reached number two on Hot 100, right? Then, it must be included on the Billboard Book of Number Two Hits (a book which describes how the same came about, comments by Shania, Lange etc.)... Novice7 (talk) 06:12, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Honestly, I have never even heard of Melanie C, but "Northern Star" sound familiar. And, yes, it did. AWESOME! A source yay! Up to what year does that book cover? -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:29, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Digital downloads for Taylor's Singles edit

If you go here iTunes no longer has them available. I thought something was weird when I was last on there but it's true all the single digital downloads are no longer available. They are only available with the album that's it. I mean yeah you can buy the songs individual but we're talking about the actual singles themselves in the song pages so to say the single itself is available for digital download is a bit redundant don't you think? JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 08:33, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Actually the only singles still available for digital download are the Pop Mix for Love Story, Today Was a Fairytale and the remix for You're not Sorry. JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 08:39, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Gotta question why do none of the albums have a format? JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 08:44, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh, sorry I didn't answer before. Well, first, the fact that they are available for digital download makes it a format. That's the end of that. As for albums, I don't know but on the discography page, a format is required for each album. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:23, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sparks Fly (song) edit

I got the sample for "Sparks Fly" added if you could check it out see how it looks and edit the summary that'd be great JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 09:49, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Also I don't know if the Genre I posted is right. She's considered country pop but "Sparks Fly" feels like a pop song JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 11:00, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well, don't worry about that. For now, country pop is good enough. I'll probably revamp the mpage myself later or maybe MyDecember will. And, yes, thanks for the sample. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:25, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Story of Us (song) edit

Why is it using the international version instead of the US as a sample? JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 11:55, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Never mind I fixed it. It's now got the correct version on it. Why'd the international version get posted on there? And since when does any pages use them? JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 12:26, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
It was just probably a mistake. Thank you for correcting it. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:25, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
