Speedy deletion nomination of Slovisk edit

Speedy deletion nomination of Slovisk edit

Hello Ioannesko,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Slovisk for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Self-promotion edit

Wikipedia is WP:NOT a venue to promote either yourself, or any languages you or your friends have constructed. For a topic to be suitable for inclusion on Wikipedia it must have significant coverage from reliable, independent, secondary sources (see WP:GNG). If you continue to spam information about the language you've created without demonstrating it's notability you will be promptly blocked from editing. 2A0A:C802:4:1:0:0:0:34 (talk) 13:08, 19 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Giraffer. An edit you recently made to Pan-Slavic language seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Giraffer (talk·contribs) 07:27, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Slovisk edit

A tag has been placed on Slovisk, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
  • It appears to be about something made up, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Speedy deletion of User:Ioannesko edit

February 2023 edit

An article you recently created, Slovisk, is not suitable as written to remain published. An article needs more information and citations from reliable, independent sources to remain in the mainspace. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline, has suitable content and thus is ready for mainspace, place {{subst:submit}} atop the article, then publish. Silikonz💬 22:42, 4 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Pan-Slavic language, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 22:52, 4 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
