Signing and sourcing edit

Thanks for your contributions. Just two things. You must really get into the business of providing reliable sources for your contributions. In the case of medical science, this should ideally be in the form of peer-reviewed studies or reviews. If you only have a secondary source, just drop it on the article's talkpage and someone should be able to chase up the studies being discussed.

You also should not be signing your additions to articles with ~~~~. This only applies to talk pages. The page history logs clearly which contributor added which part of an article.

Drop me a note if you need a hand. JFW | T@lk 21:40, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 06:21, 13 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Glutamate dehydrogenase deficiency edit

A tag has been placed on Glutamate dehydrogenase deficiency requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. --The Firewall 19:44, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
