This draft looks great so far! I love how you mentioned that they are a sex worker activist and what exhibitions they have had. My only feedback is to include the type of activism they engage in / are known for in the lead. I think the lead can also perhaps include other aspects of Lyric's positionality. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to what you add to the "Art" section. Would love to see more of work from this artist. Dancer4949 (talk) 21:46, 9 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Lyric Shen

edit

Thanks for starting an article about Lyric Shen. I moved it back to your sandbox though, because it isn't yet ready for mainspace. You need more coverage from reliable sources in order to demonstrate that they meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. I think Cultured magazine is probably a reliable source, and the coverage is in-depth enough to be usable to demonstrate notability, but you need more - ideally at least three sources of this quality (or better). besides Cultured magazine, are 1. Kunstverein München. (2019). Wall Sits [Exhibition catalog] (in German). München, Germany: landeshauptstadt münchen kulturreferat

2.^ "Cranbrook Ceramics Student Featured in Real Pain Los Angeles". Cranbrook Academy of Art. 2021-07-16. Retrieved 2022-02-06.

I believe these are also credible sources that prove notability. The Kunstverein München is an art museum in Germany, and the source is an artist catalog from when Lyric Shen's art was displayed there. The source states the artist's birthday, where they are currently based, art mediums the artist works with, and reflects that they are internationally recognized. Similarly, Cranbrook Academy of Art is an accredited educational institution. The source is an artist catalog from the Real Pain art exhibition. It is not a promotional toll and offers information regarding the materials used to create the art piece displayed in the exhibition.

For these reasons, I believe the article is ready to be moved into the main space. Intellectual pixie (talk) 22:40, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
