Proposed deletion of Fraser Franks edit

The article Fraser Franks has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. AFC Wimbledon squad edit

Hi, I've restored Jordaan Brown to the AFC Wimbledon squad list. He is listed on the BBC website as taking squad no 24, with Huw Johnson as 32. Technically I think both are in the reserves but I've taken the view that if they've got first team squad numbers then they can be listed in the first team. The alternative view you could take would be neither have ever played for the first team (unused sub doesn't count!) and both should be deleted.-- MLD · T · C · @:  21:05, 28 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

June 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Jack Turner (footballer), please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. GiantSnowman 08:02, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

The burden of evidence is entirely on the editor (i.e. you) adding information to an article. GiantSnowman 11:09, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
But the truth is still, that there was not need to delete the content, if you bothered to check the information yourself. That could have saved us both some time.
--Sine Cera, Infobesity (talk) 11:14, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
"The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material. You may remove any material lacking an inline citation to a reliable source." GiantSnowman 12:31, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Stil not needed to have done that actually. Even though 'the rules' says you can do so. This dialogue won't get any further.
--Sine Cera, Infobesity (talk) 12:38, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
No, I very much should have done that - unreferenced information, especially about living people, is simply not acceptable, and all the sources I could find from a quick Google search were blogs and Twitters etc. Please read WP:BLP, WP:RS and WP:V for more information. GiantSnowman 12:49, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Allright.. fair enough, I understand the point in biographys on wiki. It still amuses and amazes me though that you could not find anything on google, as I did it in few seconds. Perhaps you should practise using that tool, since you have the responsibily as an administrator..
I'm fully capable of using Google thankyouverymuch, but all that came up on the first page was nothing of any use (although I've just re-searched it and the site you linked to now appears). GiantSnowman 12:57, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sorry if that comment offended you. I have a quick question on refs actually... what is the best form of doing refs? I mean, if I should include accesdate and all that or not, all the time, and so on?
--Sine Cera, Infobesity (talk) 13:01, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem. Ideally you should include accessdates, but sometimes I forget as well! GiantSnowman 13:04, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
I my countrys wiki (Denmark/danish) they sometimes 'store' a websiteedition, so that the ref does not 'disappear' if the website goes offline.. is there sometimes I should learn that for? And do you have a link how to? And I would be happy to get a link to form of template on how to do proper refs. Thank you in advance for your time - so far also. I know I can be a little rude and provocative! ;-)

You could always try the Wayback Machine which stores old versions of web pages. And would something like {{Cite web}} be helpful? GiantSnowman 13:21, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Infobesity, and thank you for your contributions!

Some text in an article that you worked on Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves, appears to be directly copied from another Wikipedia article, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves and Academy. Please take a minute to double-check that you've properly attributed the source text in your edit summary.

It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves at any time. MadmanBot (talk) 12:41, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves and Academy. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves and Academy – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. BiH (talk) 12:50, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have redirected you page to Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves and Academy. Best regards, --BiH (talk) 12:51, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

You made a mistake... edit

The original article should be deleted and made into to articles like I did. Just look on the 2 pages from the Arsenal article concerning the Reserves and the Academy. It is 2 different things. --Sine Cera, Infobesity (talk) 12:55, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The article AFC Wimbledon–Milton Keynes Dons F.C. rivalry has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
