Glad you like it
I'm happy you find SearchSuite useful. (I'm looking into a fix for the bug you reported).
Since you are into useful tools, I thought you might find WP:OTS interesting.
- You implied that you focus on redirects, and so, you might especially like its section on enhanced vision.
Enjoy.
Sincerely, — The Transhumanist 15:27, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:05, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
This is well-deserved

For awesome reasoning on the talk page of an article that has made me so weary I can't bring myself to mention it. Coretheapple (talk) 17:23, 29 January 2024 (UTC) |
- Thanks, and I feel your pain: these kinds of discussions can be exhausting, especially for controversial topics. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:15, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, these I/P pages are terribly toxic, and are a kind of "old west" without rule enforcement. Glad to see a new editor ride into town. Thanks again for your good work and don't leave too soon! Coretheapple (talk) 18:53, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- I refactored the discussion you initiated to include a "discussion" section. Hope that is OK with you. I had previously initiated a discussion above and it seems more logical in the section you commenced.[1] Coretheapple (talk) 14:06, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. To avoid getting more messy/complicated than the discussion already is, I think can merge that single comment into the rest of the !votes. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:11, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
Hello InfiniteNexus, noticing the edit summary This is currently sorted by relevance, I wonder if adding !---♦♦♦ This is currently sorted by relevance ♦♦♦---> could clarify this for future contributors. Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 04:55, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that would be necessary or helpful, as there have not been too many attempts to reorder the list without an explanation. But even if we were to insert a hidden note, what's with all the diamonds? InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:43, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
United States Capitol Rotunda
Hello, (and hello pop-up young Jimbo - that's Jimbo, right, or someone else?). The rotunda RM was closed soon after I had replied to your last request to give another shot at convincing you, so just wondering if my comment succeeded wonderfully and that you now agree with me. If so, and praise the Lord for miracles in flesh, time, and commonsense logic, would you give the closer a note on their talk page? If not, well, I've seen few editors change their mind in RM's, so I'm not expecting a WikiMiracle. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 01:56, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not seeing how uppercasing "Rotunda" would improve the encyclopedia, and there is already consensus that the number of sources that use uppercase do not constitute a significant majority. I can't say for certain that I would have never been convinced down the line, had the RM been kept open, but not that it matters. The consensus above me seemed pretty clear.
- I assume you were being sarcastic with the first two lines of your reply, but in case you weren't, no, I was not saying that at all. What I meant was that your initial nomination should have included any important/major arguments, given this isn't just a straightforward application of policy. And FYI, you can indeed modify your nom using
<ins>...</ins>
, just as you would to any comment. - (And yes, that's Jimbo. I hope he gave you a good scare.) InfiniteNexus (talk) 06:04, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- No, not being (whoops, young Jimbo again) sarcastic at all, I didn't know that modifications of opening statements were allowed. I thought once someone replies to a post that it cannot be changed. Thanks. I've asked the closer to reopen or to join the IAR request. IAR is needed because I know the lowercase crowd moves as a pack (I try to feed them with 'abc's') if the ngrams don't meet their threshold of 90% or so they can use that in every case, even if commonsense rears its ugly head (not referring to Jimbo, who keeps rearing his semi-smiling head over on the left). Thanks for the reverts
I've learned something new today about poster sourcing! I had reverted the IP address because some of its other edits were ones considered disruptive edits on pages I watch, and in the absence of other context the no-summary source change seemed fishy alongside that (even with the time gap between edits meaning it was potentially a different person), but now I have new context to take forward if I see that kind of diff in the future. Thanks again for reverting me! - Purplewowies (talk) 02:29, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
- No worries. InfiniteNexus (talk) 03:42, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
He never was just another "Ken" – he was Plutonium Ken!
Hi InfiniteNexus,
I hope you're well. I recently discovered your user page and was greatly inspired by your efforts to Wikipedia, particularly in the fields of film and technology. Your commitment to content quality and editorial expertise are noteworthy.
I'm contacting you to discuss the Wikipedia entry for "Oppenheimer," a project that has become a personal goal for me, driven by my sons' curiosity. They've set out to learn more about the scientists featured in the film, notably Troy Bronson's portrayal of Joseph W. Kennedy. This trip has taken us to the depths of these historical persons' lives and contributions, and I'm determined that the piece provides a thorough and accurate picture of the film and the real-life characters it depicts.
Given your knowledge of film-related issues and your talent for copyediting and content discussions, I would appreciate any input or recommendations you may have to improve the article's depth and correctness. Your contributions would be invaluable in making the article a valuable resource for those who share a similar interest.
Here's the link to the article: Draft:Troy Bronson 2024
Thank you for taking the time to assess my request, as well as for your valuable contributions to Wikipedia. I eagerly anticipate your advice, expecting to contribute positively to our shared interest in film and historical narratives.

- Hi. While I appreciate the heartfelt message, Bronson does not meet our notability guidelines for actors with only three minor roles on his résumé. I don't think he was even credited in Oppenheimer. InfiniteNexus (talk) 06:24, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
Moana 2
Moana 2?! This is gonna be G-R-R-REAT! 47.55.237.217 (talk) 23:49, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Well, it's exciting for sure, but I would temper my expectations. Like the new Alien, this is basically a made-for-TV movie that Disney decided to send to theaters at the last minute (presumably to alleviate the looming content drought). InfiniteNexus (talk) 19:03, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Gemini (Google)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Gemini (Google) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ItsCheck (talk) 00:44, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- What? InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:36, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- The disambiguation pages you tagged do not meet CSD. They will be denied. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:36, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi @InfiniteNexus. There's recent discussion about production company/distributor. Feel free to comments. Regards. 2402:1980:849E:9A74:0:0:0:1 (talk) 03:30, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- I'm watching that page and am aware of that discussion. If you are the IP involved in the dispute, I would recommend responding to Darkwarrioblake's comment; WP:COMMUNICATION is required. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:43, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
Wheely
Hello! I've submitted a request here to update the Wheely entry on the company's behalf. I'd like to think the suggestion is non-controversial but I do not edit in the main space because of my COI. Might you be able to take a look, since you've helped with previous requests?
Thanks for your consideration, Inkian Jason (talk) 16:13, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- I did get your ping the other day but have been rather busy lately. I'll try to get to your edit request as soon as I can. InfiniteNexus (talk) 19:07, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

Alien: Romulus
Avatar: The Way of Water. Look at this. The side bar says 20th Century. Release says "Walt Disney under 20th". That is how we do this. ToNeverFindTheMets (talk) 23:45, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- That doesn't mean we need to append a lengthy explanatory footnote on every 20th Century film. InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:48, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, heck no. I just put that there so I could double check the proper method. I love how vigilant you were to edit this. You are EN POINTE!!! Less than two minutes you were right on my case. ToNeverFindTheMets (talk) 00:00, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but if you have further objections, please follow the recommendations outlined at WP:BRD and discuss on the article talk page, not here on a user talk page. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:02, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

Fandom
Hey do you edit on Fandom as well because if you do could you make a few edits for me Max the Media Fan (talk) 04:28, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Chances are unlikely and most editors aren't fans of others asking them to make edits on their behalf. I know Infinite doesn't. Trailblazer101 (talk) 04:37, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- But I really love to edit Fandom and I need help on my behalf. Like you can create a new Disney wiki for me Max the Media Fan (talk) 04:39, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
