Hi there. Firstly, if you sign your posts with ~~~~ I will know who a message is coming from.

To answer your question; please let me say that this is nothing personal. There are many thousands of bands in existence; wikipedia requires that, to qualify for an article, they meet certain criteria which are contained in WP:MUSIC. It appears that this band does not qualify under these criteria. This does not mean that we query the factuality of your article, nor does it prevent the band from qualifying at a later date. If you feel that the band does in fact meet the criteria, please let me know.--Anthony.bradbury 17:34, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I looked on http://allmusic.com and they were on there. I think that they meet the guidelines for a page. Allmusic doesn't have a biography though, so I'm not sure how much information I can find. I'm sure it's somewhere, someone just has to get permission to copy it. Thank you again, Indie -0 18:05, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Indie -0Indie -0 18:05, 22 April 2007 (UTC).Reply

Sorry, I pasted this from your discussion page. I'm a noob, so I didn't know if I should put there or on here. I will go delete this from your discussion page if you want.

No, that's ok. Discussion often takes place on a here-there basis. As to your last point, I would be delighted if you can improve the article. I do not intend to offend, but the point is that whether the band itself is or is not notable, it did not appear to have adequate notability in your article. If it can be re-written to pick up on one or other of the points in WP:MUSIC then it will survive. Obviously you appreciate that you need only one qualifying parameter, not all of them. Do be careful not to trip over WP:COPYVIO. And seriously, if I can help in any way do not hesitate to ask. I would have to admit that my knowledge of contemporary music is rudimentary at best!--Anthony.bradbury 18:14, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Adoption edit

It seems that in the process of moving talk pages my previous comment got lost, either way I am glad to adopt you. If you need any kind of help or have a doubt just leave me a message and I will respond ASAP, Peace. - 01:20, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Martyr A.D. edit

Info about them seems to be hard to find, but I found this interview [1] and this page [2] containing some info about them , hope this helps. If the resulting page seems small just tag it as a {{stub}} and it will probably attract the attention of more informed users, Peace. - 16:04, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Martryr A.D. edit

A tag has been placed on Martryr A.D., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. iridescenti (talk to me!) 12:55, 9 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Response edit

I will see what is on the web this Monday, I'm a little tied up this weekend and only came here to post a piece of work that I have been working with. - Caribbean~H.Q. 15:03, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I have been tied up with taking two articles up to Good Article standards and a third one is under work. Reporting vandals is a matter of filing a report at WP:AIV if at least four warnings have been issued or if the account is on a vandalism spree. - Caribbean~H.Q. 09:01, 8 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
By pressing the "history" bottom at the top of every page, every edit has a time stamp and "compare edits" feature, when two edits are selected it will take to a "diff menu" below the differences there is a "older or newer edit" button, if you press this button it will take you to a screen highlighting the changes done to the text during the last edit in bold red letters. - Caribbean~H.Q. 14:51, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ussually if the user hasn't received four warnings the admistrator attending the report will only warn the user, I wouldn't recommend filing a report unless the user has been properly warned or if that user is on a vandalism spree and has a previous vandalism history. - Caribbean~H.Q. 18:30, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request to participate in University of Washington survey on tool to quickly understand Wikipedians’ reputations edit

Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington. In April, we met with Wikipedians to learn what they would like to know about other editors’ history and activities (within Wikipedia) when interacting with them on talk pages. The goal was to gather feedback to help design a tool that could quickly communicate useful information about other Wikipedians. We have now created a few images that we feel represent some of what our participants thought was important. We would appreciate it if you took a few minutes of your time to complete an online survey that investigates whether or not these images would be useful to you. Your quick contribution would be very valuable to our research group and ultimately to Wikipedia. (When finished, the code for this application will be given over to the Wikipedia community to use and/or adjust as they see fit.)

We are particularly interested in feedback from new editors! We want to make sure this tool meets your needs.

Willing to spend a few minutes taking our survey? Click this link.

Please feel free to share the link with other Wikipedians. The more feedback, the better! The survey is completely anonymous and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All data is used for university research purposes only.

Thank you for your time! If you have any questions about our research or research group, please visit our user page. Commprac01 (talk) 23:13, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
