User:Rogerz's images

I am sorry if this is against policy, but, of the images which User:Rogerz added at page Riot control, I kept some, which showed riot police or otherwise seemed relevant. Please complain to me if necessary. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 11:19, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

The images that Rogerz (talk · contribs) added were not against any policy that I am aware of. What got him into trouble (a 24 block for now) was his 'spamming' of those images (and always the same images) across many articles, and not responding to requests to stop. I see nothing wrong with using the images where appropriate. So go right ahead. --Imroy (talk) 23:14, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Thermal imaging camera

I see that you were the one who originally redirected Thermal imaging camera to Thermographic camera, so I thought I'd give you a heads up that I'm working on an article to go on top of that redirect, with appropriate cross-links between what's currently taking shape at User:Jclemens/TIC and thermographic camera. It didn't look like that was the result of an AfD discussion, but I figured it would be polite to let you know what I plan on doing in the near future--drop me a line if you see any problems with my plans. Cheers, Jclemens (talk) 23:31, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Provia100F-135-box-top.jpeg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Provia100F-135-box-top.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:27, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
