Infobox War 1812

edit

I dont see any consensus at all for this to be added to the infobox. I would suggest you start a talk on the matter (especially if its reverted again). Not a big deal it will happen alot over your time here..that is getting reverted. You will find even the smallest additions may require a conversation about "where" info should go...not that its right or wrong...but about placement. You happen to be editing an article that gets lots of Academic contributors and is talked about alot. For example see Richard Jensen overview of the problems with editing the article. Basically I see it best to have the lead and infobox as basic as possible (as do others who have edited the article). We dont want to misleading people in anyway about who WON the war...or retaining the previous norm. The article explains all in context..info box does not. -- Moxy (talk) 21:14, 17 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Just starting up a discussion about this now, as it seems very NPOV in favour of the US viewpoint. If you are still around, pop in. Deathlibrarian (talk) 03:59, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
