Disambiguation link notification for March 14
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kashrut, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rumination. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:04, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
Edit summary
editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Fettlemap (talk) 20:24, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

May 2022
editHello. In a recent edit to the page Toxic shock syndrome, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Graham87 07:45, 4 May 2022 (UTC)

WikiProject Medicine
editA WP:WikiProject is a group of editors who like to work together on articles. If you're interested in improving health-related articles, you're welcome to join us at Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine. It's a good place to ask questions or to help each other out. If you'd like to, you're also welcome to join the informal, low-key contest about adding citations to articles: https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Wikipedia/WikiProject_Medicine_reference_campaign_2023?enroll=qyoufwds (All you have to do is sign up at that link, and then edit normally. Everything else is automated.) WhatamIdoing (talk) 19:43, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Sundayclose. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Deaf-mute, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Additionally, the term "deaf-mute" is derogatory and misleading because almost all deaf people are capable of speech. We don't know if Chaney's parents were literally "mute". Your edit, cited to reliable sources, belongs in List of deaf people. Sundayclose (talk) 14:36, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
