Speedy deletion nomination of Ilovetv1 edit

A tag has been placed on Ilovetv1 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

I'm not sure what to do with this. It's a half completed page, the title is the user who created it, and the user who created it redirected their talk page to it. I'm not sure what this is supposed to be.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. September 2018 edit

  This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Ilovetv1, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Don't delete speedy deletion templates. I'm also required to tell you I reverted your deletion of the speedy deletion template. Beasting123 (talk) 02:29, 2 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Ilovetv1 while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. 41.114.89.166 Beasting123 (talk) 02:30, 2 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ashes to Ashes (South African TV series) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ashes to Ashes (South African TV series) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.tvsa.co.za/user/blogs/viewblogpost.aspx?blogpostid=30988. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Ashes to Ashes (South African TV series) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Ashes to Ashes (South African TV series), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Muvhango without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. Disambiguation link notification for November 5 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Uzalo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Switched at birth (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

eHostela edit

Your proposed version of eHostela was rejected because the article already exists. I would suggest that you merge the content from your talk page (it's available in the edit history despite not being visible) into the article if you think it should be there. If you need any help, let me know. --AussieLegend () 16:59, 8 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

August 2019 edit

When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to EHostela, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube or Sci-Hub, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. — JJMC89(T·C) 22:20, 25 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
