Israel

edit

I've answered on the article talk page. In short, though, an opinion piece from 2008 doesn't make a fact. Here's an article from June 2009, regarding rockets being fired into Israel: [1] Can we now state that Hamas first broke the ceasefire in June? Or did they break it in October? [2] There were quite a few "incidents" during the 6 months "ceasefire"; singling out a specific Israeli one as the only "breaking" of the ceasefire is unacceptable POV. Most sources say the ceasefire was not renewed in December, and that's what Wikipedia will go with too. Jayjg (talk) 05:39, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. However, I must point out that just because an American politician has made some sort of allegation, that doesn't mean it belongs in any article, much less the Israel article. The article is about the entire history of the country, not just something some American politician alleged about it in a speech one day. Jayjg (talk) 05:53, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
By the way, please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's Three Revert Rule. If you revert any material in an article more than 3 times in a 24 hour period, you can be blocked from editing. Jayjg (talk) 05:57, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
