Amar Nath Grover or Justice A. N. Grover moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Amar Nath Grover or Justice A. N. Grover, has too many problems to remain published. It needs more inline citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) There should be no external links in the body of your text. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. c:File:Amar Nath Grover.jpg edit

You claim that the photograph you uploaded to Commons, c:File:Amar Nath Grover.jpg, is your own work. Really? You seem more tech-savvy than I'd expect of an 80+ year old studio photographer. Please give the correct attribution of the photograph. Cabayi (talk) 13:54, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! Please see now. I appreciate your guidance. (Ikkumpal (talk) 14:30, 18 December 2018 (UTC))Reply

Sorry, I should have given you the long explanation...
Commons: allows anyone to freely reuse any of the photos hosted there - c:Commons:Reusing content outside Wikimedia. In order to allow this without violating copyright law they need to know where the photo came from and to be sure that its copyright is not owned by anybody, or that the copyright has expired. The Indian rules are at c:Commons:Copyright rules by territory/India. A blank attribution doesn't confirm anything and the image would likely be deleted if none is provided. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 14:50, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Amar Nath Grover.jpeg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Amar Nath Grover.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
