March 2015 edit

Hello, I'm Soetermans. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Open world, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Soetermans.   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:18, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Soetermans. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Soetermans that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Soetermans. T / C 11:17, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I was on my phone before, so writing a message was a bit of a hassle. Anyway, Ikcen, I really don't appreciate your tone. You still fail to grasp the whole idea of Wikipedia. If you want to add information, you have to add sources. That's it. Add. Sources. That's my whole point. If you don't want to help out, fine, then go somewhere else. I'm not paranoid, and not stupid either. I care about Wikipedia and I care about video games. --Soetermans. T / C 15:56, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Jaaron95. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Open world, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so!   Please do not add or change content, as you did to Open world, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jaaron95 (talk) 17:50, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

.Well I use a reliable source with good citation, if you will be kind to check it. And I replace a text that is merged from many different articles, to create a very subjective opinion of its author, I will say even text that clearly breaks the rules of Wikipedia.

Open world edit

Hi Ikcen, your edits on page Open world were not sourced (you claim you did, but I couldn't see!) Reference is essential when you make an edit in Wikipedia. In your case you blanked the previous content and then added your info, in that case a reference is definitely needed. If you don not know how to add a reference, kindly go through the page Help:Referencing for beginners. Thank You. --Jaaron95 (talk) 18:07, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ikcen! As I told you, please read the page Help:Referencing for beginners which will help you add references! Please don't edit the page Open world unless you get a clear idea of what a reference is. Thank You --Jaaron95 (talk) 18:26, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

April 2015 edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Open world. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jaaron95 (talk) 18:09, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Hello, Ikcen, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome.  Jaaron95 (talk) 18:31, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm The Herald. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to User talk:Jaaron95. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you. -The Herald the joy of the LORDmy strength 11:19, 7 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
