I see you've already disclosed this, but that all of your edit appears to pertain to your film, you're pushing it on promotion grounds. -- ferret (talk) 01:31, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am not pushing anything. It's been out for years. There is mention of many other films. Yet not the most notable series which is the one that no one seems to think has credible sources or is real. What a bizarre effort everyone is putting in from keeping it from being listed on wiki. I also noticed that someone removed the listing from video games that are films as well.
If it really means that much for people to keep it from being mentioned anywhere on wikipedia then i guess you can have it your way. Ijduncan (talk) 16:52, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

April 2022 edit

Your recent editing history at Half-Life (series) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, Ijduncan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Half-Life (series), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Escape Orbit (Talk) 16:59, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have disclosed my conflict of interest. All I am doing is adding information that the series exists. This is not some political topic that has differing views. It is a film that exists in the canon and has been viewed by millions of people. It's not being unduly promoted more than any other films in the list. Which were also likely added by the people involved in making those. I am being penalized because I am being up front about who I am. Ijduncan (talk) 17:14, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
