Removing comments

edit

Just to mention, but removing comments by others from your Talk page [1] is generally discouraged on Wikipedia. It's your Talk page, so you're generally free to do what you want with it, but I would encourage you to let comments stand. This is something you might simply not be aware of, so I just want to let you know. If you look at my Talk page, and my Talk page archives, you'll see plenty of comments critical of me and correcting errors I've made, it's just part of the process. Best regards, and keep up the good work. Ëvilphoenix Burn! 18:23, 4 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Journey of Hope

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Journey of Hope article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing! - Mailer Diablo 03:51, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Oh, looks like another user has copy-and-pasted material from [2], not you. My apologies for the oversight, I'll restore it to the last known good version created by you. - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 04:49, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pi Kappa Phi

edit

Thank you for your edits on the Pi Kappa Phi page. I'm not sure who wrote the page, but what I do know is that it is chock-full of grammatical and syntactical errors. Any copy edits made to this page are greatly appreciated. Littlealien182 (talk) 05:08, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please continue copy-editing the Pi Kappa Phi page. Stop being lazy. ŁittleÄlien¹² 21:38, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for agreeing to help me make the Pi Kappa Phi page a featured article. You can find more information about what it takes to be a featured article here. Also, if you're interested, you can join the Fraternity and Sorority Wikiproject. Thanks! LittleAlien¹8² --talk trash-- 02:08, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cashley Cole

edit

Just a friendly note on Cashley Cole. I reverted your blanking of the page. If you think a redirect is inappropriate, take it to Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion instead of just blanking it.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 23:58, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

edit

Hello, Iheartwiki19. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
